Friendly people, very clean, breakfast ok. Not or very hard to find for cabs (send them to ville nouvelle/ecole de la musique), not located in nice surroundings (no problem if you're away all day). Probably cheaper hotels to find but this is a riskless and pretetiousless choice.

We enjoyed our stay in Fes at the Riad Dar Aliane. We almost wept when we saw a sign on the main street for the Riad. They're usually quite difficult to find. The room was comfortable and clean and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent and lots of it.
