Our stay in Riad Adarissa was magical and made very special by the welcoming owner - Jean-Claude - who ensured our comfort and was always on hand to offer advice and information about Fes. The Riad is in the most central area of the Medina, and easily accessed after the first return trip out into the maze of alleys. Having always wanted to stay in a riad, we were not disappointed, and would certainly consider the Adarissa again, although we would probably ask for a different suite; whilst beautiful, one high window opened out onto an alley. We did have some broken sleep - the first night by cats fighting (there are many cats in the medina), and one further night after a big football match when the local youths were sufficiently inspired to have their own quick match in th alley. For us, it was all part of the adventure - and the attractions of staying in the medina far outweighed these moments of local colour!

The Riad Dubai is a great riad to stay at. The rooms are very pretty and nicely decorated. However, the only thing to beware of is the steep staircase leading to the bathroom (just in case you are traveling with any older adults or children). The location of the riad is perfect, just inside the medina and very easy to navigate to. Breakfast is good and can be eaten on the terrace which is nice. Said is very helpful and is available often. He goes out of his way to help you. Would gladly stay here again.
