If you could move the hotel (and beach) a little closer to Ortigia it would be perfect. The trek is tiresome through unremarkable (aka seedy) area but worth it. We would certainly chose to stay here again and have the respite of the lapping waves and spotless sand rather than stay in Ortigia. Wonderful breakfast although the water is so salty that you should give anything that involves hot water a miss. Tricky for tea-lovers. We only had one dinner but it was divine.

The resort is clean and very well presented. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was across three levels via a tight spiral staircase, this was annoying. The beach area is well kept and is perfect for people who wish to sun-bake. Noise levels from the main street can be problematic when windows are open during the day, however the double glazing stops this when shut. The area surrounding the hotel appear quite safe at night with many people walking the streets till late. Overall, a very nice place to stay in Siracusa.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Musciara Resort and had the best time in Sicily!! This Resort is family owned and run and you can feel every moment the passion, dedication and honest customer service of the whole team - we felt like being at home from the first moment. Not only the service was outstanding, but also the breakfast with fresh fruits & juice, delicious home made baked mozzarella and many more delicious ingredients made you waking up every morning looking forward for breakfast.Or try out the home made pasta cooked by "La Mamma" and enjoy the incredible nice terrace directly at the sea looking over to Ortega. We will definitely return to the Musciara Resort! Thanks to the whole team & family.

tres bel hotel, tres belle decoration, plage privée..., parking gratuit a proximité. Probleme : prix elevés (de 180 € a 365 € la chambre sans le petit déjeuner). Les prix ne sont pas affichés alors prudence... n'hesitez pas a demander car nous avons eu une trés mauvaise surprise à notre départ : 400 € ( pour : une nuit en chambre double sans petit déjeuner ( 180 € ) + repas du soir 2 plats de spaghetti et 3 poissons grillés + repas du midi : 3 plats de spaghetti ). Les prix n'etant pas affichés, la patronne facture un peu ce qu'elle veut...
