The Pelion Resort is located in Portaria, a 5-minute walk from the village’s central square. Set at an altitude of 700 meters, it’s close to the Church of St. Nikolaus and the Mana Fountain. Nearby is a popular walking path called the Centaurs’ Pathway, leading through historic buildings, monasteries, and country churches. The Port of Volos and the Chania Skiing Centre, Ägriolefke, are both within 13 km of the hotel.Constructed in accordance with traditional local architecture and natural surroundings, the new Pelion Resort consists of two main buildings housing the reception area and lobby, a snack bar/restaurant and a comfortable communal living room with fireplaces. In summertime, guests can order off the bar menu and dine al fresco on the patio around the swimming pool. Room service is also available. The spa facility includes a Finnish sauna and a jacuzzi. Children can play in the outdoor play area, in the shade of an oak tree. Visitors can play football, basketball, volleyball, or tennis at the nearby Portaria Athletic Centre. Sailing is popular in the Pagasetic Gulf, and skiing is popular at the Agriolefkes ski centre in winter.Noise-free guestrooms cannot be guaranteed.

Room Details

Each guest accommodation at the Pelion Resort features a private entrance from the garden and views of Mount Pelion. Rooms are spacious, nicely decorated in earth tones, and feature private bathrooms with a bathtub or a shower, hairdryers and (some) with hydro-massage showers.Guestrooms include individually-controlled heating and air-conditioning, an LCD TV with satellite channels, a DVD/CD/MP3 player, complimentary wireless and wired Internet access, a telephone, a minibar and a private safe.
