We've stayed at Sugar Palm Karon for 800 Baht per night, two people, in May. This included breakfast; and the breakfast was pretty good. All you can eat Papaya, and an omlette made for you fresh. The room was a little small, but clean enough. There's only a short walk to the beach. The pool is very narrow, but very long (maybe 60 yards). Unfortunately, there are not many umbrellas, so finding shade on a sunny day is difficult. The room included a Flatscreen TV and a DVD player that also plays CDs. You can rent DVDs for free at the hotel (for those rainy days). Overall, very good hotel if you're on a budget.
