Great place to stay, friendly staff, value for money, the only drawback is its location up a hill, but there are free transfers and pick ups to the beach.

The welcome , when we reached the hotel was out standing and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were very spacious. The location provided a good view though about a 15 min walk from the beach. There were free bus services to and fro from the beach. We got to hire a Honda City from the hotel at THB 1200 per day which was very convenient. Over all, outstanding experience and would surely like to come back again.

This is a lovely hotel! On a hill situated 5 minutes from kata and 20 minutes to kata beach. The hotel offers you a free taxi service during the day so... distance is not a problem! the only thing is that once you are in the hotel you are kind of limitated to the services offered within the hotel. the hotel offer is great though!

I had read so many reviews on tripadvisor about Hotel Boomerang Village Cottages that I wanted to try it for myself. We stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves-very peaceful, staff helpful and friendly.

I booked Boomerang Village after some good comments on the Trip Advisor website. And I have to say my wife and I enjoyed our stay so much and we're actually sad that we didn't stay longer at Boomerang than the 2 days we booked. The staff were all lovely and as we were on our honeymoon they made us feel so special and even bought us a little gift which was appreciated. The Cottage is excellent value for money and the facilities are up there with 4 stars or nearly even 5 if we compared it with other places we stayed in Asia. I rated photographs not a perfect 10 because they don't do justice just how beautiful the place is. Overall excellent place to stay and next time we come back to Phuket we won't be staying anywhere else than Boomerang Village. Thanks to all at Boomerang Village.

This hotel is wonderful and will only get better as the construction on the pool area finishes up. It is a bit of a walk to the beach (15 minutes or so) and we were not sure exactly how to get there at first but after a lesiurely evening stroll we found it and were able to go there directly the next morning. I recommend to take a normal taxi from the airport and have a map printed out to explain to the taxi driver where the hotel is located. It should cost around 500-600 baht for the trip. Don't bother waiting for any kind of shuttle bus to fill up with other travelers. They are cheaper but it will take you forever to get there and you will most likely be last to be dropped off. Regarding strolling at night from the hotel: I found that the small white dogs at the base of the hill are friendly in the day, but turn into vicious guard dogs at night. If you come back to the hotel after dark I recommend you carry a stick from the side of the road to smack them in the face with as they try to bite your legs when you walk by. The pool is small but just right. It has a jacuzzi area and it was very nice to have a dip in the dark while looking out over the palm trees and full moon. The water is just perfect, not much (if any) chemicals or chlorine in it. In fact, I think having a drink by the pool, under the moonlight after a long day at the beach was the epitome of relaxation. It was our favorite part of the trip. The rooms were great. TV is nothing special but why are you watching TV in Thailand anyway!? Minibar is well stocked and reasonably priced. Drinks from the bar are good and not too expensive comparatively. One thing that didn't bother us but may be a concern for out of shape Americans or Europeans, you have to walk up a pretty steep hill to get to the hotel. But that just makes the pool at the top that much more inviting! All-in-all, a good hotel at a great price. Perhaps wait a month or so until they finish the construction on t

We loved it. The room was beautiful and we could see the sea. The hosts were welcoming and helpful and the breakfast just fantastic. We recommend using the pushbikes if you can't bear to hire a motorbike...we cycled to the beach and to restaurants in the evenings and loved it ..just be prepared for a steep push up the hill as you reach the cottages.

Was not as described on web page. Distance to beach was a 20 minute walk. Location was at top of steep hill and off the beaten path. We wanted to at least see the beach from a distance but that wasn't possible. Much construction going on and we just didn't feel comfortable with the room or the location. We started walking and found a place much closer to the beach and a whole lot more comfortable and fun.

Very good customer services. The hotel is located at the quiet hill away from the hustle and bustle of the market areas. The furnishing is very good and the hotel rooms are surrounding by beautifully designed garden. We really enjoyed the personal service provided there.
