Blue Heron Beach Resort - Lake Buena Vista, Orlando

Clerk at desk did not acknowledge our presence for several minutes while she was on the computer. No one else was there. Finally, she finished what she was doing and said hello. Should have stopped what she was doing and at least said hello instead of keeping us waiting there. Public areas are in need of some sprucing up. Condo style room was very nice and well equipped.

This place was pretty nice,clean,and quiet. I loved the patio view of Lake Bryan.The price was right,but the room was not big enough for my family. We were in a 1 bedroom with a 8 year old and an infant 7months. I should have looked into a 2 bedroom before we unpacked. My bad. The floors are tile which is hard on mom and dad when baby is just learning to crawl. The room did't have much in terms of pots and pans, but a call to the front desk rectified this problem quickly.The tub in the master bedroom is jetted, but it's NOT a jacuzzi,like some of the other properties in Orlando offer.Hot water runs out quickly, so don't dawdle. The pool was big and had a lap lane which is a great add-on. You can come and go with your card and people were using the pool till 11'oclock at night.I would like to ask management,"What's up with the spanish music poolside? Is this chosen for guest or the mostly hispanic workers that roam the property?" I prefer my music american! The game room could have been a little bigger. I have a complaint that most gamerooms on Orlando properties should consider, Why do all games have to be BOY based:shoot em up and race cars. It would be nice to add some games for our beautiful daughters like ms pacman or breakout that aren't high adrenaline violence. I was sick on the last day, so we left a day early. They refunded me for that night which I appreciated.One thing that was missed was a place to eat on property. There are plenty of places close by but sometimes you don't want to leave property when on vacation.
