Unfortunately whats advertised isnt what you get. There isnt a private beach, is a sandbox. Service is poor. When you request something is forgotten like a decent coffee maker. The first place had roaches so we were moved to another unit. I wanted the hot tub in the room, didnt get it either and yes is salt water in the pool. Security isnt always at their post either. No, I wouldnt stay there again.

The Room was unsafe for human occupancy. the carpet was so dirty, our socks turned brown within 30 minutes. The room smelled like an ash tray. The room we got as a replacement was not nearly as bad, however, there was food splatter on the kitchen wall about 2 feet from the floor.

Had a lovely stay. Far more space than we had expected. Enjoyed the warm pools and beach areas. Not too far from all the attractions. Handy supermarket and restaurants close by.

We thoughly enjoyed our stay. Going to Dinsey world was an easy ten minute drive, although we were disappointed that when we got back to the resort the pools were closed! (after 8pm) Would have loved to soak in the hot tub after a long day walking around Epcot!

The resort was better than expected, on all counts. A person in my group who runs a number of luxury hotels in South America was truly impressed. We all enjoyed it - the environment is serene and lush, staff friendly, the place is very well managed. Be aware that it is advisabel to have your own car in order to go to the Disney parks - local transport is about $60 t/r.

Bahama Bay Resort is like a beautiful little paradise away from the bustle of Orlando. It's close to everything and yet far enough away to enjoy rest and relaxation. After having a spacious villa - I do not think I could stay in a crammed hotel room anymore. If shopping for food - consider the Wal-Mart down the road - it's cheaper than the Publix. They also sell affordable souveniers much cheaper than Disney. This was one of my favourite vacations ever. When I return to Orlando - I will be booking here again! Thank you to Venere.com for offering an amazing price and for providing all the details so there were no surprises!

BUGS! Watch out for the bugs if you have a room near the wetland areas. They will cover you car, door, everything. What was most troubling was the staff's indifferent attitude when I called the front desk several times to complain. Also, this is not a great place for older kids. The "game room" consisted of four game machines and it costs $10/hour for Internet access. In this day and age, I think it should be offered for free. Finally, the cleaning charge does NOT include any cleaning during your stay. You are responsible for garbage disposal, laundering sheets and towels if need be, vacuuming, everything. Would have been nice to know this before we checked in. However, it is a very pretty facility and the rooms are very spacious and accommodating. We would consider staying there again.
