First off we arrived around 2 which was early but was told one of our rooms would be ready in about 15 min (we had 3 of them) 2 hours later none of them were ready yet . As I mentioned we had 3 rooms they put to two rooms in one building and one in the other the next day my husband got us all moved to at least the same building except they put my handicap father in law whom can barely walk to begin with on the 6th floor which was fine until the elevator started messing up . On the day we were to check out it broke completely down . I called the front desk and let them know we had a handicap man on the 6th floor and after 45 min still no one had shown up we ended up walking 3 rooms of luggage and my crippled father in law down six flights of steps . I went by the office (yes I was pissed by then) and was told "oh well " no applogy no compensation for our trouble nothing ..I travel alot and this is the sorriest place we have stayed by far

Staff was extremely slow and rude. Elevators didn't work anywhere. Cleaning personnel knocked on door before 8 am wanting us out. Parking was ridiculous. Beds were very small! Way overpriced for anything comparable in the area!!!!

They changed our room from a studio with 2 double beds,ocean front to the honey moon suite. The honey moon room was nice but it was not what we paid for. So I went back to the desk after 1hour we got a room. Because they would not give our money back. But the room we got was the most nasty room ever. The stove was peeling and the kitchen only had 1 spoon 2 forks 1 knife, 6 coffee cops 3 plate and some mixing bowls. You could see the dirt in the corners of the room, the bed cover smelled awful,the balcony was pilling and cracked and the bars are too far apart my 4yr old could fit through it we did not use it. Needless to say we left the next morning. We lost one nights pay but we could not stay do to the conditions of the room and it was NOT what we paid for. We didn't even have washcloths. And the parking was a joke, yea its free if you can find a spot. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Highlight plenty of pool towels. Liberty seafood restaurants was very good. Air conditioner worked well. Staff not knowledgeable and personable. Received my one and only greeting my last day. Front desk staff admitted they have no clue about how things worked. Was told if housekeeping staff had not come by 10 to keep calling, as if I had nothing else to do. Room was no stocked with broom (to remove sand collected from beach and don't even bother calling housekeeping), no coffee maker and does not clean five (unless you want to pay extra for roll away bed). 70% of the games were broken at the arcade. Light on the balcony burned all night, shining in the room. Refrigerator door handle was broken and not clean on the inside. When housekeeping did come didn't bring toilet paper. I was sad. If you stay out of the room and don't ask staff questions you will be O.K.

Room look oudated but it was clean we thinked we had a ocean front view instead we got a side view also we had to wait about an hour to check in,elevators was too busie ,but it was a good vacacion, we may book again.

I liked the location to the beach and surrounding areas. I wasnt aware there were different buildings at first but that didn't matter it was just confusing. However, the parking lot for the hotel, was very small and you couldnt turn around if you had to. THen you had to park across the street and down a block in the parking garage, which had space but didnt mark properly where the elevators were to get into the garage, i walked up the ramps to get to my car. I thought the room was spacious enough and good enough except it didnt come with hangers, which IS NOT A HUGE DEAL, and the floor was gritty and dirty. My feet turned black just walking on it. The maid came into the room not knowing we were there because she was putting the "finishing touches" as she said but we told her the guy told us our room was ready so we just came in. SHe asked if it was all shipshape and if we needed anything and i figured it was okay so i didnt say anything about the floors but she did bring back hangers :) My one major issue i had was the elevator+cleaning service staff. There was one elevator and i can understand that the cart they have to clean is extremely hard to lug around steps, but not only was the elevator slow to come up, if the cleaning people were in the elevator searching for a specific room, they would close the doors on the guests if that wasnt the floor they needed and we had to wait. My mom and i got so frustrated we just took the stairs down 7 flights of steps, i mean it wasnt bad doing that but we ended up using the stairs because there were 6 carts that WE SAW probably more and no one would let the guests on with the carts. its 90 something degrees we are not waiting outside in the sun until you get off on your floor, we could wait for you on the elevator, but because it was tiny i guess they felt like they go first.

The staff was very good. Upon first impression, the location is in need of repair however, we did find out that they are in the midst of reconstruction. We would gladly stay there again and will be doing so in the near future. It is a good value for your dollar with the location being one it it's best features.

All of the staff that we had contact with were very friendly and helpful. We asked where a pool was located and how to get to it and the nice lady walked us to the pool herself. It was great for a long weekend away. Would stay here again.

I love this place <3 It was so amazing. I couldn't ask for a better place to stay. It was my first time in SC, and for sure I can't wait to go back. I hope to bring my mother, and more friends with me next time.

I was fine with the location of the rooms and the features it provided. I was also pleased with location of the kiddie pool new our room. Check in and out was very easy. The rating came down because I room appeared to have mold on the wall near the floor between the bed and the nightstand, there were holes in the bedspread and on the last day I spotted a roach in the room.
