The Beach Boutique Resort - Krabi

Perfect place to relax in beautiful surroundings. The Had Yao beach is still fairly undeveloped for tourists, so you do not have many other tourists on the beach, you can have a walk or run on the beach by yourself, with the Phi Phi islands and Koh Lanta in the horizon, which adds to the calm and beauty of the location. Since the area is not very developed, you do not have many restaurant options in the vicinity, but the resort restaurant offers a good choice on quality breakfast, lunch and dinner (although not expensive, it is not a bargain either). The staff is friendly and helpful and can assist booking cars, motorcycles, trips to sights (Ao Nang, Phi Phi islands etc) nearby and they have free bicycles and kayaks. This place is perfect for couples wanting to relax and explore the area, as the rooms and pool area are perfect for chilling out with a good book or watching the sunset with a glass of wine. There were no groups or families with children at the resort during our stay and due to the lack of tourist services in the area (Krabi town is a 45 minute drive away) doubt they would find this place appealing. If you are looking for an action packed holiday with lots of options for trips, beaches, restaurants, shops and bars this is not really the place to be, but if you want to relax in between hanging out with all the other tourists for a few days, stay here for to get a feel for nature, local people going about their daily tasks and to have some space for yourselves.

We had to move to a different hotel as they couldn't fix the air-con. Reception was not helpful when we told them about the problem.
