There's plenty of sunbathing space and only 48 rooms so you should have no trouble finding a spot and will definitely make friends during your stay on Kauai Island.
Being the first hotel on the island and built in an old plantation style, The Kauai Inn Hotel offers a unique place to stay as it has a sleepy charm about it, giving you the sense of the Hawaii you imagine. There are lots of things to see and do on the island such as going to the many beaches and visiting Poipu's Spouting Horn, golfing at Wailua Golf Course, Snorkeling at Ke'e Beach, surfing at Prince Kuhio Beach and boat tours to Fern Grotto. The hotel is also near shopping and a full-service health spa.

My wife had taken ill after we left the cruise we were on. Chris was on top of everything and made an unpleasant event manageable. Staying there is like staying with a good friend. We could have not asked for anything better, It was close to all the things we wanted to do, and they were extremely helpful answering any questions.

It was actually better than we expected from the pictures on the website. Even though we only stayed for one night, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It has a beautiful view of mountains. Good breakfast, lots of lovely tropical fruits. We loved it.
