Be careful of the "extra" charges $9/day to park,$10/day for a beach chair, and high restaurant charges. Fortunately there are other restaurants in walking distance, including a grocery store.

The rooms were outdated and of low quality. No where near the quality described. Not worth the cost. The only positive things were being on the water and excellent customer service.

Had to call the front office twice in the middle of the night because neighboring room was having a party. We got absolutely no sleep and were not offered another room. Not very sympathetic to the situation. Someone else charged restaurant fees to our room number so security is not tight. They ended up taking the charge off the bill.

We stayed 3 nights there, the room was ok, but very loud because of the aircondition/ generator (I don't know exactly) outside on the roof- if you plan to stay there ask for a sea view room. We asked for another room and the lady at the reception was not very friendly. Regarding the venere rate: There were some extra costs (tax, parking 8 USD, something else, I cannot remember - in total 25 USD). The beach bar was closed and we couldn't have a drink in the hotel bar (we arrived in the evening and didn't want to drive again)- there is one hotel next to the other, no shops in walking distance. Nice beach and swimming pool.

I believe I read that they had shuttle service from the airport, which they did not have. Also, I thought they were alot closer to the airport. However, the accommodations, personnel, service and amenities were great.

This hotel was very disrespectful. The don't stick to there own policy. And tried to over charge us. They wanted a 25 a day deposit, plus the 563.00 for our room.

All 225 guest rooms at this nine-storey oceanfront Fort Lauderdale hotel boast private balconies with stunning ocean views.Accommodations are tastefully appointed and offer a choice of one king size bed or two double beds. Generous amenities in each lodging include free high-speed wireless Internet access, coffee maker, microwave oven, mini refrigerator, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, in-room safe, direct dial telephone with voice mail and extended cable TV with movie channels.
The Ocean Sky Hotel & Resort provides non-smoking and disabled-accessible rooms on request (subject to availability).
Please note: Balcony doors are not currently accessible due to the replacement of balcony railings. Work is expected to be complete in early December, 2011.
