Venere.com did not pass the reservation to the hotel, so I was forced to book a double bed room at a higher walk-up rate than the king bed that I was promised.

This was the first and last time I would stay at this hotel. From the start, the people at the front desk were rude. Got to my room and toilet and tub hadn't been cleaned. Linens were smelly, old. (even the remote control was broken). We found old clothes in the drawers. The place gave me the impression that had refuges from the hurricanes staying over. People were wondering around like they were drunk/high. Outside, we saw people selling gold chains, etc. The Waffle place, was my first time there too, and like the hotel, it will be my last. Very very bad experience. I wouldn't last another day!

The bathroom was not clean when I checked in, and the hotel was not located in the best part of town. The staff wasn't terrible, but I didn't think they had the customer experience in mind at any time during my stay.

The person at the check in thought my reservation was for one night and the reservation made was for 2 nights. They did not give me an invoice when checking out and said that Venere had already charged for my reservation and that I had to ask Venere for the invoice (something different to what Venere says). I believe that the price was OK and my only claim is for the humidity in the room and the cleanliness.

Traveling on I-95: exit at Commercial Boulevard (Exit #32). Travel west and turn left onto Powerline Road. The hotel will be on the left side of the road, behind the Waffle House restaurant.
Traveling on the Florida Turnpike: exit at Commercial Boulevard (Exit #62) and turn left. Travel approximately 4 miles/6.4 km to Powerline Road and turn right. The hotel will be on the left side of the road, behind the Waffle House restaurant.
