Ramada Hotel Salzburg City Centre - Salzburg

+ Good breakfast, central location by the main train station and bus terminal, 20 min walk to old city but good bus connections. Clean and proper hotel. Parking garage only 8 eur per day. - Only small bar in the lobby, No restaurant, fitness center very small, almost no equipment for muscle training, only cardio (worked for me as I only did cardio). Problems with the internet connection, it worked ok but a little slow when it was not down, which happened for a couple of hours during our stay so maybe it was just bad luck. Cable internet did not work at all. For a business hotel they must upgrade the internet access, it is not acceptable with the kind of unstable connection they have today.

The location is not aesthetic but extremely convenient for tourists. The lobby is a bit cramped and the lack of a minibar and coffee maker in the rooms was a handicap. The convenience of the location, soundproofing and gym facilities were a strong positive.

Hotel is 69 steps from train station, a pleasant surprise. The free internet is horribly slow and very frustrating, 25-30 seconds just to open an e-mail. Front desk said it's because too many people using service. It's the same at all hours and keeps disconnecting every few minutes. E-mailed hotel GM about the problem but he never had courtesy to respond. Great grocery store in train station steps away. Wish European hotels would supply washcloths with towel set and color coded tissues to warn maids when supply is low. Mine was empty after two tissues.

breakfast is very expensive (€ 16,00 per person) I didn't visit the hotel webpage, so I answered all questions with "5"

convenient location, near public buses, there is a shopping centre next door. Very convenient, not hard to get around using the public buses.

Some few steps from tre Haptbahnhof and you're there! Not so expennsive, not so cheap,just perfect. Some little adjustments on the concierge staff and everything's gonna be all right- some of them are very competent, others are a little bit lazy -i better believe confused, ornot properly well trained. Surroundings are great! You want to be in shape? Then, go to the Altstadt on foot. It's worth the effort and a very pleasant walk.

My daughter and I were grateful for the two minute walk from the train station to the hotel. We felt immediately comfortable in our sound proof room, enjoyed the dinner environment with an exceptional view of the mountains, and quite enjoyed the spa. We only wish that you offered swimming pool facilities. A superb experience since we could walk everywhere around the city. We will certainly come back to experience more of the Salzburg hospitality.

it was a really nice stay. i was on a business trip for 2 days so there is no bad comments to make only compliments for the people working in this hotel in particular the friendly and warm welcoming.
