Extremely noisy room from outside aircondition on roof. Good breakfast. This is central NYC however friend of ours had for less price a much better room in the same area.

Nice comfortable clean room with views across the area up on the 12thfloor. What killed it though was the rude staff whom clearly didn't want to be there and the terrible breakfast served in polystyrene cups and polystyrene plates which was funny when there was a big sign in the room about helping the environment.

We found the hotel good value for money. The complementary breakfast was excellent and the free wifi was useful. The room was very clean.

My room was small, dark and stuffy. This hotel needs renovation badly. Otherwise, everything was OK.

A lot of different nationalities in the hotel. Staff helpful though can seem grumpy at first sight. Excellent location to visit manhattan. Everything at hand. Breakfast satisfactory.

Small rooms, as expected in New York, and the bed was fine. We were transferred between rooms as some work needed to be done on one (were informed at check-in), and we were glad as the first room was very loud. The second was a few floors further up which seemed to sort the noise out. The provided breakfast was good, with lots of bread options, spreads, drinks and cereal - meaning we could eat healthily, something often lacking in travel! In retrospect we would probably have paid a bit more to be closer to Times Square, as most of the touristy things we wanted to do were based in that area. If you wanted to be based downtown or are willing to walk a mile uptown every day it's fine! :-)

This hotel is a fantastic location and the room rates are very reasonable by New York standards. The room I had was great and the free wifi service is invaluable when making use of iPhones etc. The only problem I had was the noise coming from the street - I suppose it is a busy area and this should be expected. After my first night I got some ear plugs and this helped. The staff, I thought, were on the unfriendly side - quite a contrast to the "Have a nice day" attitude you get in the rest of the city. However if you want a great location at a reasonable price, this is the place for you (just bring some earplugs to block out the traffic at night!).

WE STAYED IN A DOUBLE ROOM DOUBLE BED, DELUXE, THE ROOM WAS CLEAN , THE BATHROOM WAS VERY CLEAN TOO, AND THEY'RE BOTH UPDATED,AND YOU CAN FIND EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN A HOTEL ROOM, FROM HAIR DRYER, A LITTLE SAFE, AN IRON , A DESK WITH A CHAIR, ETC.... THE LOCATION OF THE HOTEL IS EXCELLENT, CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN NY, AND WE HAD DISCOUNTED PARKING FEES AS WELL ! I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ALL MY FRIENDS.

Overall a good hotel to stay- very central but quiet location, rooms are good and clean- and as small as in general in NY. Only the breakfeast is minimalistic - but I am european, may be not an important thing for US people. Everything else fine, services good- I can recommended it

The hotel is comfortable, the staff very friendly and serviceable, breakfast is ok (the room to small for such a big hotel). The only big problem is the outside noise; even on the 9th floor it was perfectly audible. Overall, however, it's a good place to stay.

Ramada East Side a wonderful place to stay. Rooms are nice and very clean, we where at last floor 12 floor room 1206 nice view, the room was quiet from the traffic you could only hear a little noise from the air condition machine on the roof but doesn't bother to have a good sleep. The beds where big and confortable. In room you have TV and apple music station to recharge you apple ipod o iphone, a coffe machine, iron and a secure where you can fit a pc or mac. The included breakfast is complete you have muffins, donuts, bread, egs, coffe, orange juice, tea, fruit. At the recepion there is Harry that will give you any support you need with a smile, courtesy and professionality. Nearby the hotel there is a lots of nice places to eat or take a tea like penelope. the location is perfect on line 6 subway (28th street lexitong) that will take you everywhere you need in new york. If i'll be back in NY i'll book again these hotel.

I was forced to accept a smoking room - no choice. Even though we were spending the night there so my husband could recover from sinus surgery! I will never use your website again as I don't remember any indication of this when I booked it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in NY. Ramada Eastside was more or less as we'd expected altho initially the reception wasnt as helpful as they ended up being! We were extremely disappointed initially as we had to share a bed. This was especially annoying as we are 2 female friends and were very tired after a long journey from the North of England (change of flights in Amstderdam). I had telephoned twice from the UK to ensure that we would have a twin bedded room. However this was resolved the next day. We were given a very spacious comfortable and quiet room. Italian Restaurant next door, served delicious meal. Also pizzahouse on corner (name began with Z!) was v good, a fun place good for people watching.. Overall I would (& have already)recommend Venere & Hotel.
