I travelled with my Family (4) Highly recommended, good price, good position, very close to the underground and in 20 min you will be in the centre of London.

Good, clean hotel, very near to a tube station. The distance to the centre of London is about 20-25 min. There is some noise from the road at the side of the hotel. Good restaurant and bar, bur poor suroundings. I'll prefer a more central hotel, but the price is good and you can go downtown easy.

Hotel room is close to the center of London and a very good value considering the price. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the underground station (North Acton) and a 20 commute into the city center. The hotel is located in a safe area. We felt very safe walking from the underground back to the hotel, even at night. Make sure you verify that all of the lines on the underground are in service while you are visiting. We did check in advance and were already aware that the central line would be down over the weekend so we were able to easily reroute our commute into the city. This hotel lists that all rooms have air conditioning. The air conditioning is basically non-existent. The air is not cold and the room never cooled down. After moving 4 times we finally gave up on the AC. The hotel accommodated us with free breakfast. Luckily we visited London during May so it was not extremely hot outside. Other than the AC issue we would recommend this hotel.

Rooms are spacious (double bed + single), clean and bathroom is big. Staff is kind and helpful, also if they do not seem to understand the difference between a credit card and a debit card. Breakfast is abundant and good. Price is not cheap, but the accomodation is very comfortable and very near to the underground, inside zone 2. The restaurant inside is good, poor choice as usual in Britain. Neighborhood are very poor, nothing around except a very useful Tesco with long open hours.

It's a good hotel, comfortable rooms and above all: very clean. The bad thing is that the pavement (made of wood) is very noisy and in the night while you are at bed you can listen to everyone walking. The area where the hotel is situated is 15 minutes to the city centre but I'd recommend it to families that come back within midnight, since that hour the tube is not working anymore and to come back you have to take 2 buses (the first one stops in a bad place).

I've been three times to London and unless your company is paying for a central hotel or you are willing to spend a fortune, this hotel is the best value I have found. True is 25min away from the center but it has a Metro station 200mtrs from it. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is outstanding. Its worth the extra time!!

We stayed in a family room advertized as two children up to 17. The room was small but very nice and clean. The two children were expected to share a pullout sofa which was quite uncomfortable to begin with. This did not work for our family as I have a 13 year old boy and 16 year old girl. The next day we asked if they had a room with two singles but we were already in their biggest room. The staff was very accommodating though and put a roll away cot in the room. Not much space to move but at least they didn't have to share. Worked out much better. Breakfast was good and if you paid for an adult, the child was free. Very nice hotel and friendly staff. It was a little far out from central London and we felt like a lot of time was spent on the subway. All in all a good experience.

Stumble Upon breaking of the air conditioner in the room 218 which forced us to two covered until the end of your stay to avoid the cold of the air conditioner. is the fourth time I come to London, in this case for the royal wedding. For the rest really OK.

New hotel with all needed facilities. In comparation with classic London`s hotels this one is clean, modern and rooms are very specious. It is out of the center but tube station is nereby, maybe 3, 4min of walking and you are in the streingh center for 20min. There is shoping area in the neighborhood and very good pub. Definetelly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel! No sounds from the traffic outside, very good breakfast (free for children, warm bread and cockies, always filling up missing food, good coffee). The staff was helpful and kind and reachable. The tube is only 2 minutes away, easy to get in to central London. Peacful and industrial location. We were happy for staying at a NEW hotel in London and good prices too.

Execellent location for visiting London, close to tube stop and bus is just outside the hotel entrance. For those who likes indian food, the 95 bus will take you straight to Southall (a piece of India in London); same 95 (but eastword) will take to Shepherd bush for shopping and interesting resturants.

To explain better which is the direction to follow to find the Hotel when you're outside of the Metro station. Could be useful to have some panels with Hotel Name and direction to follow. The only thing that wasn't perfect is that the Hotel Invoice Ssytem was out of order when yesterday I have made the check out and so I've received my invoice only in the evening by e-mail.

GREAT location wrt central-line tube stop & convenience shop. Only reason for dropping a few points is that their "family room" just about holds the two beds, then we took turns moving around the room. Although normal for London, at least they offer the family room. VERY clean accommodation and will use again.

We, a family of five, had a pleasant stay at a, what it seemed, new hotel with clean, spacious and nice rooms. Fantastic breakfast! All of our kids enjoyed it too which is a good sign! Personnell varied in competence but all of them had a friendly and helping attitude. The hotel offers dinner at reasonable prices and internet connection via TV in room for 9,95 GBP/day. The location to center of London is a bit off, but we had no problems taking the Tube 8-12 stations from North acton into town. The Hotel is appr. 5 minutes walk from the station and the ride to e g Oxford Circus is made in less than 20 minutes. We bought daycards 5,60 GBP for adults and 2 GBP for children up to 15 years. Theres also a small Supermarket conveniently located between the station and hotel. If you´re coming from Heathrow, take the regular Heathrow Connect train to Ealing Broadway (much cheaper than Express) and change to the Tube (Central Line) which will pass North Acton.Coming out from the station take a right turn and follow the pathway up to the street. Here you find the supermarket. Keep on going forward and cross the next street and appr. 300 meters ahead you´ll find the hotel. Coming from Gatwick you can take the regular train (much cheaper than Express) to Victoria Station and change to the Tube. North Acton is a station on the Central Line.

What makes this hotel a very good choice, is its price and its location. We paid 92GBP/day for a family room -4 persons- (breakfast not included), and we had a 7 min walk to North Acton station (20' max to get to Oxford Circus station). The room was quiet, clean (could be cleaner in places like underneath the beds and behind the TV...) the staff is friendly, the service is good. Overall it is a very good hotel and we would opt to stay again.

Nice Hotel! If U don't need to stay in the center of London, this is a good alternative, with just 20 minutes tube to Oxford Street. The surrounding areas were nothing special, but easy access to bus outside hotel could bring you to Englands largest shopping mall in Sheperds Bush.

Rather comfortable. Quite close to tube station, at the border between London zones 2 and 3 (valid the tube card for zones 1 and 2). A little distant from London centre (13-16 tube stations) but closest station (North Acton) is on the Central Line. Excellent buffet breakfast. Did not have dinner. Parquet on the room floor.

We felt very comfortable in this nice hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The tube station was just 5 minutes away (20 minutes to the city center), also a supermarket on the way and a lebanese restaurant, where you can get very tasty sandwiches (and other meals). Really a good and not so expensive place to stay in London.

Like always on Venere.com, previous guest comments were right on. The Ramada Encore London West Hotel is a modern facility, and my wife and I had an excellent experience, overall. Our check-in experience was great, with friendly staff and a room available (this means a lot to us, after a long overnight flight from the U.S.) Our room was ready, and we had no problems at all. The rooms are modern, clean, and quiet. The Hotel is about 300m from the North Acton Tube Station (Central Line), and couldn't have been more convenient. Tip - when exiting the Tube station, walk between the Tesco convenience store and the Turkish restaurant. Keep straight until the fence and cross the street. The Hotel is right there. We had a very-full four days in London and vicinity, and the trains run all the time. From Heathrow, take the "Heathrow Connect" train (NOT the "Heathrow Express") to Ealing Broadway station and transfer to the Underground (you'll need to purchase an Underground ticket and enter again, if you don't have an Underground ticket or Oyster Card with you. (Tube zones 1-4.) We didn't have the Hotel breakfast, but it looked really good (buffet display.) Also, the Hotel bar is good, and lively at night, with Football matches on the screen. Checkout was also excellent, and the Front Desk staff stored our luggage for us (we had a night flight to Malta...thanks, Staff!) Basically, we liked everything about this Hotel and will definitely stay there again when in London!

Although it is relatively far out from the centre of London, the hotel was easily reached by the Underground system. The directions from the Underground station (North Acton) to the hotel were not at all clear, however. The hotel itself was clean and modern; service was prompt and efficient; and the price for our two night stay was very reasonable.

The hotel has quiet rooms with a lot of business clients, but also families. It is convenient to North Acton tube stop. I personally would have preferred an iron in my room rather than in an ironing room, and I would have loved a tub, but we had excellent service. On check in the room was not spotless, but was after that. I would definitely stay here again because for London the prices are reasonable. The hotel is quite modern and the area is a combination of business and residential and was fine. I liked the layout of the hotel and the decor. There was a self-serve breakfast/snack area but we used the Tesco Express nearby.

While the hotel is a little outside of London (between Zone 2 and 3) it's only a few minutes away from the North Acton station on the Central Line so it was convenient for us to get into the city. It's also right off the motorway (A40?) so easy to get to by car. The hotel itself and the rooms are modern and clean. There is no gym. While we were staying there was a problem with the internet service over all 4 days, which was a pain. They use a 3rd-party provider called Swisscom. The breakfast buffet was standard fare and decent (breads, fruits, eggs, sausages, juices, coffee /tea etc...). There isn't really another option in the neighbourhood although a minimart (Tesco Express) is close by. Value-wise for London I suppose it is reasonable, for most anywhere else in the world, overpriced.

I will definitely stay again. The room was very homely and nice, the staff were excellent and very friendly. Only complaint I would have is that the towels are very small but that certainly didn't take away from the stay. Definitely great value for money which is hard to find in London. Also we were using GPS to find the place but there is no signage directing you towards the front entrance or the carpark.

An ecellent choice for budget conscious visitors to London. The tube is very near by and enables easy acess to all parts of london. The staff were very pleasant and competent. Easy parking facilites. One difference between web advertised prices and actual was on parking where the actual is £8.95 per day.
