Quality hotel on the Meuse. A little far from downtown. Not much in the way of public transport so you're stuck with buses or cabs. Closest train station is Liege-Palais, about three quarters of a mile walk. A couple of restaurants nearby but need to go out a bit to find variety. There is one supermarket on Rue Marengo, the first street to the northeast. The hotel itself is pretty close to excellent. Rooms are big and quiet. Complete with Sat TV, electronic safe, a mini-bar and a large wardrobe. Internet service ready in every room and all public areas. Good amenities. Nice and competent staff. The only downside really is the neighborhood. If you're in Liege for sightseeing you might want to consider a different hotel. Anything other than that this one's probably the best hotel to go with. I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel for visiting Liege, you can walk to the centre in less than ten minutes. Easy to find from the motorway.
How to reach Hotel Ramada Plaza Liège City Centre
By car
From Brussels and Liège: approaching Liège, do not take direction Liège but follow Aachen-Maastricht. Then follow the signs for Lige-Maastricht, Liège-Ardennes. Take exit no. 7 and cross the Atlas bridge on the right. Then turn left following direction Saint Léonard / Centre. You will find the hotel after 1 Km/0.6 miles at street no. 36.
From Luxembourg: follow direction Liège, then Centre-Autres Directions. Follow Centre-Maastricht, then Herstal, Saint Léonard. Under the Saint Léonard bridge, turn left at the traffic lights. Then take the first on the right, rue Saint Léonard street. Turn right at the third corner to get back to the Quai Saint Léonard where the hotel is located at no. 36.
By train
From Liege-Guillemins Central Station take bus line n. 1 that stops near the hotel.
