Ramada Hong Kong Hotel - Hong Kong

Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and speaks good english,not extremly central but there's a tram stop before the entrance and you can be in the city in less than 10 minutes. and tram In Honk kong are extremly cheap!!. alternatively you can walk for about twenty minutes. I had a positive experience.

The king-size bed was 2 twins pushed together. The mattresses were hard as a rock. Could hear the city noise outside as well as everything going on in the hall. They shower leaked water onto the floor. It was 10ºC outside but the room had no heating whatsoever.

1 - Air conditioning needs check. Temperature switch set at 25°C but still cold in the room. 2 - Did not require an invoice when I paid bill in cash. But later I had a reason to request a payment receipt. Which I did per e-mail. So far I have not received it.

After a long international flight i was given access to my room early than check in time. Their web site needs some updating with regards to information however the room was clean and bit more spacious then some other HKG hotels i have stayed in. Also they need more non smoking floors . Asian staff in general (all hotels) need to be a bit more welcoming. However my wow factor was being checked in straight away and not had to wait till actual check in time. I am staying there again.

Excellent value for quoted rate, received free upgrade to suite on high floor which offer much quieter nights 'cause of street cars noise can be very loud during early morning. hotel location is some distance away from subway and central; but close to night spots. Street cars/buses are frequent, inexpensive and fun to ride specially during nights - treated as city tour. Need to know the area to get on and off public transit. Excellent location to catch airport buses across the street $40.00 HK compare to $300.00 taxi ,great deal.
