I were in the Holliday Inn for 4 nights. It was clean and comfort. The employees were good in their jobs.

Excellent value, friendly staff and very comfortable and clean rooms. A bit too out of the way to explore Chicago, but I would definitely recommend it for a short stay - I was there for three days and felt that was the limit in terms of the 50 min commute to central Chicago. The trains are very efficient and cheap, but the access from the hotel to the station is semi-tricky and it's a long trip... But overall the hotel was great and really good value!

It's a very good hotel if just landed in Chicago you like arriving immediately to the hotel to relax and to arrange your trip, or if you are leaving from Chicago very soon and need an hotel next to the airport. in fact the hotel is very close to O'Hare Airport. I don't suggest the hotel as base to go/come to/from Chicago.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They even kept our luggage for a week without extra costs when we had to travel. The hotel is close to O'Hare Airport and the shuttle bus comes and goes every half hour. We will be back!

The e-mail access is not convenient as it quickly becomes more expensive than years earlier to call long distance. In the future I will check for FREE email access. This is the reason for having checked "4" in two items.

The manager helped us check in and was extremely friendly. He even upgraded our room free of charge. The price we found through venere was 20-30% cheaper than any other site like expedia, priceline, etc.

The hotel really was out on its own. No restaurants within a reasonable walking distance. It did have a train stop a block away so getting to Chicago was easy.

First time at the hotel, am very happy. Complimentary shuttle is very prompt and regular. Staff at the reception were very nice. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Surprisingly quiet, only noise from the other guests who were checking in to the adjacent rooms. But the restaurant food was so-so, and the waitress/waiter were very unfriendly and curt. The table I was brought to was also not cleaned properly (there were crumbs) and service was slow. Train station is only a 7min walk away and only $2.25 to get into the city of Chicago! Cannot beat this. The hotel shuttle will happily take you there too!

We spend 3 days in your Hotel, booked in the Netherlands and we were nice surpriced. The barman was very friendly, showed us around, gave tips what to do etc. The only thing we did not inderstand was: We dit get coupons for 20 % discount for diner/Lunch/Breakfast/free drinks/free deserts The staff did not know what to do with it. Have stayed at this hotel under several names, but it continues to provide a good balance between quality and price. Located near best suburbs. Walking distance to train station allows quick and inexpensive access to city. Would definitely return in future.

Not all rooms have in-built safes as advertised and so we had to move rooms after the first night as having a safe was important to us. Not a lot of retail stores or resturants in close proximity to the hotel. Also confusion over free airport shuttle pick up - Holiday Inn national office said there was none, Venere website said there was (which was correct). Had difficulty getting an email address for the hotel to confirm this issue.

The web site should somehow indicate that there is a $10 per night fee for keeping your car at the hotel while out of town. That said, this was an excellent choice for an overnight stay before an early morning flight out of OHare. The shuttle service was promptly every half hour as they advertised. They gave us a card, and when we returned we called and they came and picked us up from the airport at 1 am when our flight came in late. The hotel is a 15 minute ride from the airport, so very handy. The front desk people, the person in the bar and the 2 drivers were all helpful and attentive. Room was clean, although we did find out that the key card door lock was not always locking properly. There was also a small leak at the faucet in the bathroom. When we reported these issues during morning checkout they thanked us for letting them know, rather than taking attitude, which we found refreshing.

Excellent experience from check in to check out. Staff friendly and helpful. Reliable shuttle to the airport, just 10 minutes away. Excellent choice for an overnight stopover. Would be automatic choice should we revisit.

I have no complains about the hotel and I would definitely stay here again in the future. The only problem is the frequency of the shuttle from and to the airport. It is every 30 minutes when other hotels is every 10-15 minutes. There are 3 doors at the airport and I didn't know in which door I was supposed to wait for the shuttle. By chance I learned it was on door 2. It was very cold that day and waiting for 30 minutes seemed like an eternity. Except from this the hotel is very nice and the rooms are superb.

The Hotel is just located on the CTA Blue Line so it is quite easy to reach downtown (about 30/40 minutes). The rooms are clean and spacious. Hotel emlpoyees are very kind. Good price/quality relationship. I would raccomend this property to a friend.

We were in good hotels in that cities, but my opinion is that Hotel Holiday Inn Chicago O´Hara has the best property characteristics in comparison with others and the price is excellent.
