Hotel Ramada Cancun City - Cancun

Many people would not like the surroundings, expecting to be closer to the beach, and with a better landscape. But in this case, that was the area of Cancun I wanted to know, instead of the Hotel Zone near the beach. Prices are very good, the restaurant offers an excellent menu, staff is kind and competent, rooms are spacious and I felt very comfortable.

The location of the hotel is great, if you want to stay in the city. It is close to public transportations as well as the ADO bus station. The hotel lobby was clean and gave a good first impression. However, the front desk staff was impatient and quite rude. But the biggest disappointment was the room itself. Our room smelled like a sewer. Even though we complained, nothing was done and we were not offered another room. Also, the room was quite enough as long as everyone was is in their rooms, but from inside the room you could hear a pin drop in the hallway.

We had some trouble with water leakage in the bathroom, but it was fixed to our satisfaction. Even if it was clean, the bathroom needed renovation. But altogether we were satisfied.

Wouldn't stay again, the beds felt like slepping on bedsprings. Was fine when I went to bed and back hurt when I got up

Hotel close to central bus station. Room very simple.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY. DOWNTOWN MUCH BETTER THAN RESORT AREA. CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. FOOD WAS VERY GOOD.

Very good value for the money, very good swimming pool, free internet, nice clean spacious room, good restaurant, and it is in the Mexican city, not the hotel strip. Only negatives were the free hotel transport to the beaches that was advertised does not exist (have to take the public bus), and there is a very noisy diesel generator beside the pool area that runs in the evenings until 10PM.
