Be aware if you want help from the staff in order to get to the airport. They, in my opinion, get a hefty comission from the taxi drivers on those trips. I think so, because: a) I asked the girl in reception how much would it be a trip to Gatwick, and answered about 40 pounds, depending on the traffic. She wanted to book me a taxi right away, which I denied. When I left, 3 days later, I left my lugagge for the morning with the concierge. He ALSO wanted to book me a taxi; I also refused. When I finally went with a taxi I picked at the street, and BY THE METER, the fare was 109,20 pounds. Not 40. It was not peak time, and I have been informed that fare is quite normal. Therefore, tha staff from the hotel MISGUIDES you in order to collect their comission.

Double room was quite small especially for two people. Not enough closet space. Bathroom shower had a poor fitting door so water leaked onto floor. Parking at garage beneath hotel was very expensive at 25 pounds per day. The hotel discount was only 10% Hotel restaurant not very busy but there seemed to be other nice places to eat in the area.

We checked in around 2 o'clock and our room was not ready then, but that was no problem for us. When we got back at 7 somebody gave our room away and luckily they still had a room for us but not for the price we book it for so we got an upgrade which was certainly very nice

March Arch (central line) and Bond Street (on the Central and Jubilee Lines) underground stations are both a short walk from the hotel.
Baker Street (Circle, Hammersmith and City, Circle, Bakerloo, Metropolitan and Jubilee Lines) underground station is a little further away, along Gloucester Place.
