Nice confortable hotel, close to the airport and within easy reach of the centre of Lisbon. Very good value for money. Recommended.

This was a lovely hotel, close to the airport, but still within Lisbon. The hotel staff was welcoming and even booked us a sightseeing tour so that we could totally enjoy our last afternoon in Portugal

We booked over the internet and based our choice on close proximity to the airport. When we arrived we realised we had stayed here six years ago.... and had forgotten... Lovely hotel, room etc.... super-comfortable bed, linens, towels, bathroom, etc.... But we only stayed briefly overnight..... would always be our first choice.... great staff at the front desk..... great rate... what more can we say..... Paul & Helen Evans Toronto, Canada

Great price-quality rate (just maybe 15 euro for breakfast is a bit overpriced). Location next to airport is convenient. We stayed in 2 rooms with our friends, our room was very quiet, but the second room was located by the other side of the building, and planes taking off were pretty audible. The Wi-Fi quality was a disapointment - it was weak and unstable. Though our friends from the other side of the building haven't experienced any problems with Internet access.

The hotel belongs to the Radisson Blu chain, thus the room size, decor and settings (e.g. toiletries, free coffee) are at their usual standard. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar (at 14 EUR, not included in my room rate) is good and plentiful. If you have a sweet tooth, make sure you try "pasteis de nata", aka the "pasteis de Belem" from the pastry table. The hotel is close to the airport (and thus NOT close to the city center), however, the nearest "metro" (underground) station is nearby so reaching the city center is not a problem. For lunch nearby - if you like meat - go for a sirloin steak (tournedos) at Grande Churrasqueira Campo Grande, close to the metro station. Downsides/caveats: the hotel is next to a very busy highway, so if your rooms faces that way, there is a constant traffic noise (a serious potential problem for light sleepers - not me, fortunately). Also, the walls seem to be very thin, so the sounds transfer too easily from the neighboring rooms (conversation and more). Finally, during my stay the (free) wireless Internet connection was constantly on/off, which was very annoying, since I was traveling on business and needed to work from the hotel. This, however, may have been temporary, so I'd not take it as a given. All taken into account, I was happy with staying there; for a low price I got through venere.com, it was a very good value for money; and I'd stay there again.

Yes,the hotel was very acceptable and services were good. Hotel staff were friendly although one or two on the desk appeared not know what the 14 euro breakfast consisted of. All in all though, good venue and worth the money.

It doesn't matter that its not downtown, the easy to use metro is nearby and will get you everywhere.Buy your ticket to cover the duration of your stay, it covers buses and, I think, trams as well.No room to change after vacating your room on day of departure

The concierge was extremely helpful. He made us a reservation at a Fado restaurant, got us a very good table, called the taxi. Very close to the airport so convenient for next day early flight.

After writen confirmation of availability of a shuttle service to the airport, I found: Only TO the airport (NOT FROM the airport) and only up to 11h00. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE

Had booked a standard single room. Was offered a superior room, with two double beds and a saloon with sofa, chairs and table. Great bath-room as well! The breakfast was not included in the price, but I also got this free. A fabulous one-night stay! And the metro is very close !!

A nice international hotel, with good views of the airport! The public areas could have been anywhere in the world. The downside was the proximity to the adjacent busy road, meaning that there was continuous noise. I did not try to get into the centre of Lisbon as I was only staying between flights, but walking from there along the main road would not have been pleasant. There could well be other ways of getting to the centre

This hotel is a fabulous value for the price. It is close to the airport and the hotel offers a free shuttle. There is a concierge desk, and they are tremendously helpful. I was able to use their phone to call and 800# in the US at no charge. They have wifi and also internet service for a small fee. There is a fabulous restaurant in the lobby, and a bank around the corner. They offer pastries, juice and coffee (and there is also coffee/tea in the room) for early morning risers, before breakfast is served at 7 AM. The Venere rate was 105 Euros, while the regular rate is 200! There is an elevator, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom clean and modern, with all the amenities. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel, and will do so again if I am ever in Lisbon.
