I had a special price as I stayed two nights so value for money was superb. The only thing that I would have liked was free internet access. In this day and time internet is more useful to me than TV specially since I do not understand German.

This hotel is very over-rated. Do not expect to receive 4 star treatment here - the staff is brusque, curt and unhelpful. The hotel interior is dated and charmless. The lounge areas and restaurants lack ambience and are over-priced for what is offered, as is the hotel itself. On arrival, our reservation was screwed up by the hotel, which put us into a room with 2 single beds instead of 1 king as requested. We waited 1.5 hours for our new room to be "prepared" and were offered NO APOLOGY for the long wait or for the hotel's mistake. When we phoned the front desk to ask about the progress of preparing the room (after 45 min of waiting), the attendant literally snarled "I TOLD YOU I WOULD CALL YOU WHEN THE ROOM WAS READY" and slammed down the phone!!!! In the meantime we were stuck waiting with all of our luggage and were unable to unpack, shower, etc. as the hotel staff would inexplicably not allow us into the room to even put our bags away!! Once we were finally moved to the new room, it was substandard and dirty - black mold in the shower grout and tiles, fan in bathroom not working, heat and AC not working in room, shower not working (had to take baths the whole time), etc. The hotel fixed the heating the next day but not the other problems. However, they left the heat on full blast (at 30 degrees) all day so our room was like a sauna when we returned. Note also there are NO SAFES in the rooms to lock up valuables. Also frustrating is that the TV soundtrack plays in the bathroom on speakers for which there is no separate volume control (or perhaps ours was just broken) so if someone is watching TV, forget about a relaxing soak in the (dirty) tub! One final comment: the breakfast is highly lauded but it is quantity over quality. Huge selection but all of it poor quality food. A huge disappointment overall. I would not recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel. Rooms were spacious, clean and silent. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were free guides of “what-to-see-in-Warsaw”, with all the attractions, maps and restaurants, available in the lobby. Very good restaurant (although a little expensive) and marvelous breakfast. It is located about 1Km from the train station and it is exactly in front of a bus stop where the bus #175 passes (such bus takes you to the Old Town in 15 minutes, also goes to the train station to the airport). We were pleased to find that there was no additional fee to use the fitness center. We certainly recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel: clean, reasonably spacious room, totally quiet despite the heavy traffic outside. Still, the price was too high for a weekday stay.

I was pleasently surprised. Very good location and a pretty upscale class hotel. Clean rooms, generous breakfast, well equipped. Definitely would recommend as I have stayed in Warsaw numerous times and the quality vs. price was one of the best at Jan III Sobieski.

Restaurant within the hotel is of top quality. However their choice of vodkas is not wide enough. I did stay 3 days in Warsaw and slept 2 nights at the Jan III Sobieski hotel.

A very nice business hotel, several blocks from the major western chain hotels (Marriott, etc.) on a main road toward the business district. The guests almost all seemed to be businessmen. The buffet breakfast was very good. I regretted no internet connection cable in the room, but was allowed to use the business center. The only detraction was having two wheel covers stolen from my car, parked on street overnight. This was surprising as the surroundings of the hotel seemed good. Just one of those things. Their listed price did not inclyde a 7% tax -- but in booking the room, this fact was noted. The property should include all taxes in its stated prices. But this was, again, not a huge disapppoitment given our pleasant surprise at the quality of the facilities. We regretted when coming back through Poland from the Baltics that this hotel did not show up on ViaMichelin.com. We would have liked to stay there again.

Nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Not too far from downtown and oldtown area - tram goes right by the hotel. There is quite a bit of noise on the front of the hotel, which tends to die down at night. Breakfast was first rate.

The hotel is very garish from the outside, but OK inside. The staff are very helpful and polite. The breakfast is excellent! The location is not too bad (about 15 mins walk from the main railway station), but if you take a taxi anywhere, make sure that they switch the meter on otherwise you may have to pay whatever number comes off the top of their head!

It was value for the money. Breakfast was great. Services good. English knowledge of staff generally acceptable. Advisable to have more English speaking channels. Facilities and fitness very good. The prices of hotel taxi services reasonable.
