My datter my wife and I stayed in Rome for one week at Quality Hotel Nova Domus. we received a warmtful welcome upon arrival. the staff are extremely nice, helpful and very qualify.. At the reception we have the sweet and nice Laura, stephano the guy who knows almost everything. He helped me together with another nice guy named Hope (or something like that) to buy ticket to stadio olimpico to see football, a friendly match between Italy and Argentina. We love you guys you made our stay very nice and enjoyable. In the kitchen we have Fatima who is always smiling and always helping. it is just a shame we could not speak italian with her. She always has nice word to us especially our daugther who only speaks french. we love you Fatima. Thanks for making our breakfast time very enjoyable.

Stayed there with a friend. Staff was really helpful from the moment we arrived till the moment we departed from the hotel. Rooms were very clean and towels were changed frequently..location is very quiet and it's a short walk of around 10-12 minutea from the vatican museums...would definitely come back and recommend it to others!

This is a clean, well run hotel within walking distance of the Vatican and good restaurants. The room was clean, well appointed, but small. The bath was well lighted and modern. The comfort of the double bed was poor as it was comprised of a thin double mattress over two single, worn box springs. The breakfast was excellant and well presented.

We have stayed 3 nights in the Hotel and the room was good. The Hotel location was walking distance to the metro station and close to the Vatican. Staffs were very helpful especially Serena who had tried her best to find a compatible socket for our laptop charger. Giovanni also showed us the directions of the place as well as the closest metro station.

Hotel was fine for our 5 night stay. I don't think I could have stayed longer... and the reason is the EXTREMELY strong air-freshener. The hotel really has to stop using that stuff. The smell seeped into our clothes!!! The carpet is also due for a cleaning. Breakfast was bearable, but get there early. No bread, rolls or orange juice at 9:30, but coffee was good and there was plenty of fruit.

i stayed at quality nova hotel with my wife and my son with his wife whom they joined us from london between the 8 and 13th december. the hotel is in good location that can be reached to many interested places in rome wich is a fantastic city with it's fountins, big squares and churches.we where on bb basis, the b'fast was good but we missed the bread toast and the cottage cheese that is served on and off.i thing it will be good idea if it served every day even for diabetic guests.we where served somtimes by girls and sometimes by boys. The girls where very nice never stop saying (bongorno)to the guests, but the boys have to try smile a little,it's nice when you have service with a smile.all at all thanks for everything and if i come to rome again i come to your hotel for sure.anthony and m'dolores vella.

After traveling in Europe for a while, we only stayed at 2 star hotels. This is a 4 star hotel and our experience was the worst out of them all. The hotel was extremely HOT. They had the heat cranking out at about 25 degrees when it was only maybe 20 degrees outside. The front desk staff was unattentive, and had a very non-chalant attitude about everything. Our room had cockroaches...just what you want to see when taking a shower, have 2 cockroaches join you. And, then the following morning, find another on the night stand. In addition, they charge 10 euros a day for wi-fi access but they failed to mention that the wi-fi access is not accessible from the second floor...it is impossible to get it. I complained enough that they finally gave me a voucher since I refused to pay for wifi access since I was only able to connect from the hotel lobby. However, after seeing multiple tourists in the lobby with me, in their pj's as well, logging in to their computers, I found out they were being charged. The examples I listed are just a few from the overwhelming amount of issues we experienced staying at this hotel. This hotel does NOT deserve it's 4 star rating. It has cockroaches, a very unfriendly staff, except for the bartender and bell boy, everyone else was worthless. Spend your money elsewhere and stay away from the hotel Nova Domus!

We were lucky we booked in a wright moment a room at the very sepcial price at les than € 10,00 per one night with american buffet breakfast: incredible. the hotel is good located: at only 5 minutes walking distance from the Vatican Museum and shopping area of Via Cola di Rienzo. the Metro at 600 m., in 4 stops we were at the Spanish Steps. The room was large and clean, the bath-room with Jacuzzi bath-tub, very relaxing. The staff always very attentive and professional. We had also good food at the hotel Restaurant. The breakfast was excellent. We will come again at The Nova Domus hotel and will suggest it to all our friends

This property is a bit difficult to find on foot. The breakfast is excellent. Rooms are comfortable, but a ventillation system connects all the rooms and conducts sounds a little too well. The elevators are loud, and rooms near the elevators are not for light sleepers. We had a problem with the noise level, but the hotel staff were happy to move us to a different room. Except for a few minor problems, an overall positive experience.

The hotel staff were quite freindly and helpful, however seemed understaffed at breakfast. The hotel was well located for the Vatican and not too far away from the Metro station. The rooms were clean and bathroom modern.

When we arrived at Nova Domus the exterior was not particularly attractive however to our relief the interior was very different. We requested a room with a view, and received a room with a balcony and a view of the Vatican. The room was quite compact however we were informed that this was the only type of room with a view. Breakfast was served from 7 to 10am and staff are friendly. The breakfast is edible and there is a good selection. The Vatican is about 5 mins walk and metro easy accessible. There are a few restaurants scattered near by, not as many as other parts of Rome though. Overall our stay was enjoyable. We got a summer special deal of 6 nights stay for two for 540 euro which was great, I don't know whether I'd be prepared to pay double(which is the price some months of the year),but I would recommend the hotel.

Restaurant staff were the main complaint about the hotel. Breakfast was provided with the room, but was lacklustre. The buffet was haphazard and poorly refreshed. The staff also lied about the breakfast- on asking if there was orange juice , the waitress opined the chef had decided not to provide it today, although I had seen them taking the empty jug away only 5 minutes before! A simple 'we've run out' would have sufficed. It was a long way from everywhere- a good 10 minute walk to the metro station to Rome and 10 minutes walk from St Peters.
