Hotels in Paris in this price range usually have very small rooms. This hotel however had a fairly large room. Good choise. Only crtic was the water pressure in the shower, very low. But this is a commen problem in small Paris hotels. You just have to get use to it.

The staff were very nice and helpful.The hotel situated in a central location .The rooms were clean and tidy but room and the bed size were small .

I would NEVER stay in this hotel again and I even would recommend Venere to not have it as part of its offer. The noise within the building was unbelivable. There was the noise of all rooms upstairs and on the sides, plus the noise of the elevator. And it was impossible to sleep due to the noise coming from the subway unergorund...I was on a second floor. Three nights with almost no sleep. Also, I was on a non smoking room, but someone on the room next door was smoking because the smell was very strong. When I kindly asked the lady at reception about this she said she could not bother the guests (then what was I?). Most importantly was the fact that there was an extremely rude man at the reception on the night of October 21st. I forgot my key inside the room and he would not give me a copy because he could not find my name on the hotel registration. I showed him my IDs, told him the contents in room, and he refused, but in a really awful manner. I was about to call the police. I have traveled throughout the world during the last twenty years for work and for pleasure, and have used venere several times, but I had never encountered any thing like this, regarding treatment and also the noise.

I was so disappointed with the room size; it was totally inadequate. The bed was also so small and not comfortable at all. The staff were nice and helpful but certainly could do anothing about the room sizes!! Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for my friends or acquaintances

Small shabby hotel. Dont expext much. Quite a view over St Augstin however. It is what it is, a cheap hotel in Paris.

The room was bigger than expected (in Paris). The bathroom was very nice. However the WC was placed in a different room - with no sink! The staff was friendly, the room was quiet,the breakfast was good. All together we were very satisfied with our hotel.

Nice hotel for a short stay. Staff were nice. Location was very good - close to subway and within easy walking distance to champs elysee etc. Would stay here again.

The Hotel was great. What I liked most was the location, it is very well located in a nice neighborhood. St Augustin Metro station is just around the corner. There are too many restaurants, shopping stores as Galleries Lafayette and Printemps

We stayed in a quiet spacious room (for Paris' standards) with an excellent vue to the enormous church of St. Augustin. The Galeries Lafayette and the Opera is 5 minutes walk and in general I would say that the hotel is more in Opera district than the Champs-Elysees (it is right on the borders of 2 districts). Very clean rooms and the stuff very helpfull. Great help was the free internet because we booked our entances to Disneyland on line and the transfer to the airport that the reception booked us with the yellow vans (18 euros per person).

This hotel is far better than I can imagine. The price was reasonable. Although the room is really small, it's really clean and warm. The bathroom is small. Overall is really nice. I'll come here again when I visit Paris. Nice location.

This was the first time we stayed at this hotel and once we actually found the hotel we were quite happy with it. The map provided on Venere did not clearly display which road the hotel was at. St Augustin Place (which was the formal address of the hotel) is very large with many roads that meet at it. The hotel wasn't exactly located at St Augustin Place but on Rue Malesherbes, joining up to St Augustin Place. We had asked for a non-smoking room but were given a smoking one. Once we indicated this to reception, the manager changed it for us. The non-smoking room was much better. We found the manager (person in charge) to be very helpful indeed and always willing to lend a hand and give advice. Overall a good stay...once we found the place.

We spent 4 nights during Easter. The hotel is in a great area in Paris, close to some major shopping streets. The hotel it self is a great base to explore Paris, and there is a supermarket (Monoprix) right across the street where we bought nice food and wine that we enjoyed in the hotel when we were not eating out. There is not a lot to do in the hotel, but there is no need to when you're in Paris. We always had breakfast at a local bakery. Nice and clean rooms, fine bathrooms. We could hear people talking in the hall outside, but it was more isolated between the rooms. It didn't bother us. So I would recommend this hotel, it is great value for the money.

The hotel was very well located near to the Champs Elysses. The rooms are small yet cosy. Within walking distances of many of Paris' main attractions. English speaking and very helpful.

The hotel was okybut it was in a nice area. the cab driver got lost getting there, but we finally found it. The front desk person locked the front door at 9pm. but overall the stay was good for the price I paid.

The hotel is in a good position for sightseeing, close to the Metro and the large stores of Boulevard Haussman. The room we had was very small and in need of decorating but it was clean enough. Tea making facilities would have been appreciated. Staff were friendly and welcoming.

we have made a four day stay , hotel is located excellent, to roissy bus 10 minnear Opera Garnier. Rooms are small sized but big enough, very clean and nice furnished. Staff very friendly and helpful. A top spot to visit Paris.

This is a lovely little hotel, very close to the metro where you can go anywhere. Also, there's a grocery just 5 minute walk away. We were very pleased with the accomodations. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Our first visit to France and we don't speak French but people were very good about helping us out. Would and have recommended this hotel to our friends.

The receptionist told us that the breakfast, that usually cost € 12,00, is included if you book the room with the site Venere.com. It was a complete and very good international breakfast.

Only problem on the last day, the power was off and couldn't get a complete breakfast, no eggs, or coffee due to power failure. Otherwise very nice place.

Basic but nice hotel, comfy rooms and friendly service. Was a bit annoyed when I arrived back to the room one day to find our door had been left wide open after cleaning though! Also a document left in at reception for safe-keeping was lost. Hotel is very well situated, lovely view from the balcony and is overall very good value for money.

The hotel was wonderful. We were expecting a little more variety at the breakfast, but it was still good. We were glad that all the information we needed about the Hotel and the city was in English. We would definately come back.
