Quality Hotel & Suites Nantes Atlantique - Nantes

Somewhat difficult to find, however well worth the effort. Too bad that the rates won't remain at their introductory level for much longer! Even though the hotel is new, I was quite pleased with the amenities available.

Cheap and Cheerful...meets the price paid. The hotel is new and modern and very white, clean and fresh. Had to stay here as decent car parking availible. Took new car and couldnt get car parking in nantes with hotel. Weekend stay at this hotel (no bar or restaurant open at weekends). Turn right out of the industrial complex and you find McDonalds, turn right and you will find Italian restaurant (v.good value for money 30 euros for 2 course and wine). Reception staff were most helpful - extra pillow, ordered taxi etc. The rooms are clean, beds were too hard for my boyfriend, pillows soft, french tv. Carpets, tiles, walls etc all clean. No coffee and tea facility, fridge (take your own water cola etc or pay 2.50 euro a bottle).Bathroom clean, good yoga moves in the shower as shower head slightly broken! 2 towels per person provided (v small take one with you if you like a large one. Quiet at night, walls are thin but a good night sleep achived. Taxi ride to Nantes cost 18 euros and took about 1 hour to walk back. Nantes is a wonderful place, museums, cathedral and shops. Great food and wine reasonably priced.Carrefour near the hotel (closed on the sunday?)! Good weekend to brush up on the french language and an opporunity for the boyfriend to drive his car! Hotel Cheap and cheerful and worth the money - don't go here if you want nightlife!
