Room (three beded room)was quiet and good. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed it. Breakfast was also very good. Staff at reception was very helpful. The hotel is very close to the railway station. We enjoyed our stay.

On the website, the WIFI internet was included in the price of the room, but whereas at the hotel, they claimed an extra charge for the internet in the room. I was totally decived with the venere.com website

Really great stay at great price. Excellent breakfast and service. Many thanks to everyone. Only problems were not finding the radiator control until the last night (so cold nights) - no roomstats present. Water not being hot when needed (8pm and later) and our shower nozzle not providing a decent jet. The sauna was excellent but slightly too hot at 95degrees (90 is better for general purpose use) and the biggest problem was the lack of a decent warm shower in the sauna: no decent jets and freezing cold - which spoiled the experience slightly (this was a key requirement in our hotel choice). many thanks, richard

By car
From Munich:
Drive along the motorway A95 until its end. Pass the small town of Oberau and the tunnel and take exit Partenkirchen. Continue straight on until you reach the Rathausplatz square (at the 4th traffic light). Turn right (direction Bahnhof). Behind the first right hand bend you find hotel Königshof after approximately 100 metres, on the right.
By train
Garmisch-Partenkirchen railway station is only 3 minutes on foot from the property.
