Quality Hotel Edinburgh Airport - Ingliston, Edinburgh

Staff was mostly helpful and polite. Needs met.

A typical airport hotel. Good value and easy to find. The shuttle is 24 hrs. which was helpful with our very early departure, however it was an extra charge which was unexpected.

Is a good hotel in the airport. Our flight departed in the morning, so the location of the hotel was really good. Room was big and clean. I love seeing planes, so the views from our room was ideal.

We needed a hotel near the airport with late night checkin. So this was okay. But the room has no atmosophere with practible furniture from the year 1970? The beds were not good for our backs.

We were surprice of the service with the shutlebus. The driver was also very kindly. We will recomanded the hotel to our friends if some of them will go to Edinburgh and we also want to stay at the hotel next time. It was my first time to Ingliston and Edinburgh. We visit Military Tattoo

Not good... The only thing that was good was its position on the airport, and its shuttle.

Hotel is very quiet despite of its location very near to the airport. Free parking for 1 night. Good restaurant but a little expensive

Triple room for myself and two sons. Enough room and all we needed in it. Front of hotel so wasn't that quiet due to planes taking off and landing but there of course was a quiet time from 11pmish till 5am. We love planes so it didnt matter to us. Shuttle bus from hotel very frequently, to airport. We sourced the no 35 bus which went into Edinburgh but took nearly an hour depending on traffic. The no 48 from the park and ride was the one that went the same route as the airport bus. We wanted to visit Murrayfield Stadium and the Zoo on two different days so needed the 48. The airport bus was expensive for that kind of travelling but the other two were Lothian buses which offered a day ticket for £3 and £2.40 for children so we could get off and on again and go where we wanted which was great. If you are prepared for that the location of the Quality Hotel was ok but if you need to be in Edinburgh every day it wouldnt be ideal. Of course if you are driving it is A1. Breakfast was good, there were plenty of choices in the hot breakfasts but not as good on the cold buffet I thought. There was also free internet in the lobby which was great for looking up places to go. Staff lovely and kept our bags on both day of arrival and departure as we arrived really early in morning and departed late at night. So all in all we had a very good stay and liked the hotel. Scenery outside of course wasnt for relaxing and sitting around as we faced the runways and there wasnt much room for flowers or grass but ok for what we wanted and I think for what most travellers want. Lobby area lovely and comfortable and bar and bar food available aswell as evening meal in restaurant.

Right accomodation near the airport. Easy to reach and to leave.

A nice hotel to stay in. However, my suggestion is that they include the cooked breakfast as a buffet style like the rest of the breakfast food so you can help yourself. This is not an unreasonable ask for the prices paid, and other similar hotels provide a cooked breakfast buffet.

Excellently located; wifi included in price although when I booked I was informed that one had to pay extra; excellent facilities; good food in restaurant; fine cooked breakfast;effective soundproofing with planes landing and taking off nearby silently; would recommend to anyone; I will try to book Choice Hotels group if possible in future.

Wir haben nur eine Nacht im Quality Hotel verbracht, waren aber sehr zufrieden. Vom Flughafen gibt es einen kostenlosen rund um die Uhr-Shutteldienst der direkt vor der Eingangstür des Hotels hält.Vom Flughafen selbst hat man mit dem Airportexpress eine gute und schnelle Verbindung ins Stadtzentrum. Die startenden u landenden Flugzeug sind lärmtechnisch nicht stark wahrnehmbar, wir haben die Nacht und auch den Morgen gut durchgeschlafen. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und das Ambiente gepflegt und sauber. Selbiges trifft natürlich auch auf die Hotelzimmer zu.

This is an airport hotel. Would it be possible to arrange a reduction for not having breakfast for very early departures. We use this hotel because we can leave the car there and they provide transfer to the terminal, Venere seems to have the best price for this hotel. RM
