It was the first time i visited vienna. The pension located in very good place where you can go most attractive places by underground or tram. The surrounding is also well , especially some bufet , restaurant. The breakfast is similar standards to other otels. The price may be reduced % 15 - 10 for exact value . However , i recommended this pension to other visitors. Koray

We traveled to Vienna with 2 other recently retired couples. The e-mailed directions were clear. We arrived earlier than check in-time, but our rooms were ready for us--great after a long flight! The rooms were large and very clean. Breakfast was tasty. Location was very convenient to the U-bahn. Street traffic noise was a problem for 2 of the 3 rooms. Very good value for the price.
How to reach Pension Schottentor
By train
From the Westbahnhof: take the U3 underground line (orange line) towards Simmering for 3 stops until Volkstheater. There, take the underground line U2 (purple line) towards Stadion and get off at the 2nd stop, Schottentor.
By airplane
From Vienna Schwechat International Airport: take the CAT (City Airport Train) to the City Air Terminal (Landstraße / Wien Mitte). Then take the underground line U4 (green line) towards Heiligenstadt for 2 stops until Schottenring. There, take the underground line U2 (purple line) towards Karlsplatz and get off at the 1st stop (Schottentor).
