Within minutes walk of the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, the Domus Pacis provides accommodation in Fátima for visitors and pilgrims on their spiritual journey to this small town which was blessed with the apparitions of Our Lady in 1917. Although it is near to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima and the Chapel of Apparitions, the Domus Pacis is slightly isolated from all of the hustle and bustle of the crowds of pilgrims, providing the peace and quiet that you needs to reflect and pray while on pilgrimage.
The Domus Pacis (House of Peace) is also the head quarters of the International Center of the World Apostolate of Fátima, a public international association of the faithful that has been approved by the Holy See and is popularly referred to as the Blue Army. There are 2 catholic chapels where you can go to mass; the Latin Chapel which holds services of the western rite, and the Byzantine Chapel which holds services of the eastern rite. The Byzantine Chapel is a sight in itself, as it has a beautiful onion-shaped dome and a replica of the Icon of Kazan, a holy image venerated in Russia.
While staying at the Domus Pacis Blue Army, you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with other pilgrims in the restaurant or enjoy a refreshing drink and a chat at the Domus Pacis' bar and coffee shop. There is also a multilingual library and a shop selling gifts, rosaries and and other devotional aids so as to always remember your trip. There is also a PC with internet access in the lobby and wireless internet access as well as state-of-the-art conference facilities.

Domus Pacis is the perfect place to stay during your visit to Fatima. The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. There is a lovely chapel inside with beautiful icons that enhances the spiritual experience of Fatima. There is a wonderful restaurant in house where they serve great meals at great prices, and the staff is great. Domus Pacis is close to everything and one of the best hotels during our trip.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.

Check-in: the rooms are available at any time after 5 p.m. until 11 p.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than noon.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
