keine Chance, Schlaf zu bekommen, solange irgendjemand sich durch den Flur oder durch das neben dem Zimmer liegende Bad bewegte. alles furchtbar hellhörig.

Minus: the guy on reception didn't really speak English, but he had the knack of combining pointing and very clear German to help point us to the best places to go! the quad room we booked smelled a bit musty when we first arrived(nothing alarming though). We expected private bathrooms (ie one per bedroom), we shared 2 between 3 rooms (not so bad really for the price). Scary clown statue in the bedroom. German TV consists mostly of cookery programmes (very meat-focused and not very inspiring) and something that can only be described as Das Sweeney. Plus: Big, clean, comfortable rooms, well equipped. Bathrooms were great - good hot water, clean, good shower. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Location great: 2 mins from U-bahn (which takes you to Alexplatz/Under den Linden in 5 mins and from there to wherever you want), 5 mins from some of the best bars/clubs in Berlin; but a quiet street nevertheless. Overall, value for money is amazing! Highly recommended even if you're quite fussy - it'll save you a fortune. We'll all be regular visitors to Berlin at this price!

This is very basic accommodation, but for the price, what can you expect! It was kept very clean, and the room had a TV. The staff did not speak any English but seemed friendly enough. There was quite a lot of noise, so sleeping was quite difficult. Also there were no curtains, just a thin net curtain, so nothing to block the light. On the plus side, is only a block from the Underground. For the absolute cheapest rent, I would recommend this as is clean.

i wouldn't recommend this pension to anyone who like to enjoy his stay in Berlin. it's actually quite far from the closest metro station (prox. 20 minutes walk). the guy from the reception which is the owner too, doesn't know english - only german and russian. he was so unkind, i just wanted to go away. he didn't let me to cancel the last night because i booked it from Venere.com and told me some cheap story about his need to pay comission for every day booked through Venere.com. I felt as been kept in jail. the bathroom is big.
How to reach Pension Regenbogen
By public transport
Take underground line U5 to Samariterstraße and exit at Voigtstraße. Follow the Voigtstraße until you reach the Bänschstraße. Turn left at the chemist's. Keep on walking until number 70 or 73, where the main office is located.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. CANCELLATION POLICY
- Cancellations and alterations may be made free of charge until 48 hours before
your scheduled arrival date. In case of later cancellation, later alteration or
no-show, the hotel will charge 100% of the total booking sum to your credit
card. In case of early departure or late arrival the hotel will charge 100% of
the room rate for the dates which were booked but not taken.
