Great hotel but I would prefer to stay closer to U or sites next time. walking with luggage was a bit of a pain. There was a problem when we arrived that the computer accidentally booked us at a different location (same hotel company) but it was fixed immediately without any snags

Thi is a nice hotel with a great value for the rooms. The rooms were modern and confortable. The bathrooms were clean and modern as well. The hotel was within a 15 minutes walk to the train station (Bahnhof Zoo). We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The only thing that we found a little unconfortable was that instead of having a duvet big enough for a double bed, they had two single duvets for a double bed.

Our first visit to Berlin and we weren't sure whether to stay in east or west berlin. On reflection, maybe next time we would stay a bit more centrally, but this hotel is still very accessible. The hotel was fantastic. The rooms, though not large were lovely, very clean, nice linens, a duvet each on a king size bed, which was really nice. The bathrooms were also great, very clean, lovely wet room style shower, and contemporary bowl sinks. We paid 235 euros for 2 rooms for two nights for 4 of us - a fantastic bargain at about £40 per room per night. The staff couldn't do enough for us, arranged for us to have rooms next door to each other, the maintenance man even fixed my shoe when a nail was causing me problems in the heel. The decor is very contemporary, there are apparently about 200 original andy warhols in the hotel. Not a lot of space in reception but there is a sofa and chairs. We didn't use the bar and resteraunt, but they looked good. There was a fashion shoot in reception when we arrived which was exciting. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the station at the end of Ubahn line 1 (U1), Uhlandstrasse. Once you get used to the U and S bahn system and how to change lines, it is easy to get to. We found that you have to be prepared to change lines several times to get to your destination in Berlin! Come out of the Ubahn onto Kurfurstendamm, and take the left turn down Uhlandstrasse, There is a tabac booth on the corner, walk to next major junction (100 yds) which is lietzenburgerstrasse, turn right and hotel is on left about 100yds down. It is on a busy road but the windows are double glazed and no noise problems. We had no difficulty getting round berlin from the hotel, but you would not want to be going back there in the middle of the day as it would take a while. Ho

Have stayed at this hotel on 3 occasions now and always found staff friendly and helpful. Quality of accommodation relative to price is outstanding and the location is hard to beat in Berlin.

in despite of what is described on the web, be careful there's no GYM in the hotel, ..besides the location is pretty far away from everything, specially at night, ... mitte is a better place to stay when on berlin. Internation tv channel was only CNN... all others were german channels...the rooms looked like nice in pics, but actually there are very basic, and the safety when housekeeping scares a little,..all room doors open even if there was not maid inside the room.

Meals were excellent apart from 2nd night when it took a long time to be served and the meal arrived Cold and had to be sent back for reheating. No apology made by the staff on duty. Reception staff were excellent with advice etc.

I think that this is an average hotel. It was very clean inside the room. The bathroom was large and clean. And it was air conditioned but not cold enough for me. But better than nothing. The desk staff was not helpful. But they were not rude either. It was worth the price and the location. I would consider it again on my next trip to Berlin but look for another hotel first.

Tutto positivo e rispondente alle valutazioni lette; solo un paio di osservazioni : 1) anche dopo una settimana di permanenza quando si ritira la chiave viene chiesto sempre il cognome; va bene la sicurezza ma mi pare eccessivo 2) problemi a rientrare la notte dopo la chiusura della porta; non sempre è facile attirare l'attenzione se il portiere non è presente (non sarebbe più semplice un campanello?) 3) costo delle bottiglie d'acqua esoso (se uno ha sete va bene anche acqua in confezione meno elegante ma più abbordabile).

1. Location: Fairly close to subway stop Ulandarstraat, but expect walking and subwaying to places. 2. Room: Good on size + space. Sheets are not changed daily even though it was supposedly standard practice. Air condition is WEAK, but superb bathroom. 3. Food: Not applicable. 4. Service: short staffed, would not help with air condition problem.

This is a super hotel - very modern, very comfortable. Altho we were on a room only basis - both breakfast and dinner at the hotel - were excellant value. Its proximity to KuDam and the U-bahn made it an ideal base. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel for both the business and leisure traveller.

A pleasant enough hotel, situated right on the Ku'damm which means that all major amenities, shopping and a lot of sight seeing is right on your doorstep. The hotel is more style over substance. Rooms are very stylish and the artwork by Andy Warhol is great, but it doesn't really have the feel and ambience of a 4 star hotel. E.g. bathroom goodies are almost non-existent, sitting down on the bed in black clothes impossible as the covers leave you with white fluff EVERYWHERE. Also, the heating arrangement is unfathomable, either leaving you freezing cold or boiling hot. The "fitness" room is VERY basic, i.e. one exercise bike, a strange multi gym without weights and another bench press type arrangement. Although room rates are reasonable, other hotel prices are unreasonable. E.g. one small coke from the mini bar is 2.75 Euros.

We had a very pleasant stay in the Andy Warhol Art hotel. The personnel was very helpful and dedicated to their work. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who visits Berlin.

the man that at the reception was not very kind, he regards at us as inferiors. The other personal at the hotel were not like him, they were really nice.

The room was above expectations; very spacious and comfortable, and the pictures were a bonus. The bathroom was one of the best we've ever had. All staff were very helpful and friendly. It helped make for a memorable second visit to Berlin - our first was in 1989 so there was much to compare. Any further offers would be welcome; either at the same hotel or in the Berlin Mitte (so we could spend more time in that area.

This is an interesting place to stay in Berlin - a good hike from the train station with luggage, yet close enough. If you are not a Worhal fan, you'll find it excessive, but an interesting change from most sterile hotels. I'm not sure I would stay there often, but it was fun once. Everything is close and easy to get to - although things are slightly less expensive in the Eastern side rather than here. Good value.

I enjoyed my stay, however I had no luck using the in-room modem, which made me a little perturbed. No one at the conceirge was able to help. Other than that, I had a wonderful stay.

It took me 5 minutes to get a door opened with a unique key system. The room was clean yet not that spacious. Internet connection provided by the hotel was ISDN, which are not popular in any other countries (US, Japan, UK etc.) was disappointing. I would look forward to wifi connnection or similar installed. Yet, the hotel is in proximity from the Zoologish station and subway U15 and many restaurants. I am pretty happy about price I paid for the quality of the hotel.
