We booked a standard room but were bumped up to one of the "superior" rooms that was modern, clean and pleasant and had a great view. All in all a good choice for a weekend in Cologne.

Location: very close to the metro but a bit away from the main Cologne railway station. The hotel is located in a very residential area and no restaurants or pubs anywhere close by a bit isolated. Overall: the room was very spacious the staff very helpful and courteous. We had a problem with the coffee machine but the staff made sure that tea / coffee was provided by the hotel. We had a good stay

The location is great, in a very nice residential area. A U-bahn (subway) station is close by, thus the hotel can be reached in few minutes from the main railway station. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. The room I stayed in was excellent. Breakfast was fine, and I enjoyed very much having dinner in the bar-restaurant, due to the simple but satisfying menu and the very friendly staff.

This hotel is located in a residential area. There are a couple of restaurants around. The German one is the better bet. U bahn is 5 minutes walk. We didn't manage to find a supermarket closeby.
