Very convenient location of this hotel. 2 minutes to the Metro station and trains, and the room quietly. The issue of transparent walls in the bathroom and nearly transparent in the toilet, suitable only for very close friends;-). Sink small and inconvenient. The room is not big, but designed functionally and comfortably, there is a refrigerator's mini bar, it is not possible to put my products not removing their bottles. Prices for Internet access space, suitable only for those for whom the company pays.

Water pressure in the shower was poor, air-con turned off in the middle of the night made the stay very uncomfortable during a hot summer! There are over 1000 rooms in this hotel, some might find this overwhelming.

I found it extremely disappointing that guests were not advised that room service orders are only taken up until 10pm, and worse than that that they wouldn't take our order at 10.01pm. That is a joke and i have never in my life seen that in any other hotel. The other issue was the hotels "freefall" attraction which had long cables running down the side of the building, when they tested it each morning the cables would give a loud bass sound that was so irritating. That could continue for an hour. And to top it off the cables when caught in wind would just sway in and out banging off the hotels window making it totally impossible to sleep in the room. If you dont like watching people fall off a building past your hotel room then make sure you specify. The rooms are way too small its very bad, the shower is in the room and doest offer any privacy and the food in the restaurant is quiet bad, when i got mine it was cold and undercooked. The terrace thats available for guests actually costs €3 per person which is crazy. How can you charge guests to use a terrace. The staff at reception are lovely and friendly, and the view of the tv tower is nice, but overall its a bad choice of hotel. I was woken in the mornings by the freefall cables, the food was poor, the facilities for guest are minimal and cost extra. And overall I feel like i was a little ripped off. Not good value.

Very well located - right next to train/s-bahn station - so airport express takes you more or less to the door. We stayed for 5 nights. Hotel very clean, warm, no coffee making facilities, but amazingly quiet for size of hotel and how busy it was. They are happy to store your bag on day you leave if your flight isn't until late. All staff speak good english. Hotel is very big and touristy. Has shower in the main room which is a bit odd. No free wi-fi which my husband was upset about but that was good news for me! Overall, would recommend.

We (me, my wife and our 10months old doughter) visited Berlin for vacations and stayed 5 nights in the hotel. The overal impresion of the hotel is more than possitive. We had a double room in the 20th floor which looked directly to the Alex-platz and the city. The hotel provided us a baby-bed free of charge which fitted well to a standard double room. We payed 80 euros per night which, compared with the prices of some Greek hotel, is great value for momey. The hotel is ideal for families with small childer as it is very close to U and S stations. Appart from that there are many things you can do in the Alex-platz just outside of the hotel's door. Finally some of the main touristic places of interests are in walking distance and the most important thing is that you can reach them walking on wide, open and clean pavements. We definitelly suggest it.

This hotel is a great value in a nice location in Alexanerplatz. It is a little hard to find -- it's right next to the Burger King in the large square at Alexanderplatz. The bathroom is right in the room, with only a curtain to go around it. There is no real lobby. The reception and elevators are basically in the middle of a small mall. Still, the location and great price make it a great overall choice.

We stayed here for 9 nights last season. We found the hotel excellent in almost every measure, but the best thing about it is it's location, right at the crosspoint of all public transportation in Berlin - UBahn, SBahn, 100&200 bus lines, and more. This is a LARGE city, and travel is always necessary, so it came in very handy to be near these stations. The hotel is not in the middle of the touristic zone, but some sights are nearby or within a not-so-long walk distance. Breakfast is not included and very expensive. This bothered us as we had to look for our breakfast elsewhere, and settle for sandwiches some of the days. Room and service were excellent.

We were for three nights there, it was amazingly quite eventhough it is a huge hotel, no noise whatsoever, the room was Ok , not spacious but enough for two persons, and it was clean. The bed is OK, and it is so easy to fall into sleep after a walking day. The surrounding is OK, and the location is great, it is central and in few minutes of walking or by the train you can reach anywhere you want. We didn’t take the breakfast cause it was too expensive (18 euros per person), we went to a café in the surrounding and for 6 euros you can have a great breakfast. The negative thing about the hotel is, no personal contact with the reception and the showers that are located inside the room, so if you are not a couple, this could be a problem but luckily there was a curtain on it. To summarize-nice location, good rooms, as tourists coming for a short period to discover Berlin, this is what we needed.

Hotel located in the very center of Berlin in close proximity to the TV tower. We stayed in a room without windows. Eventhough we've been scared how that may look like it turned to be a great and interestingly designed room. I roecommend the property eventhough it is not the cheapest one.

The Room was less spacious than I expected, the View -which I paid extra for- was not very impressing on 11'th, the Parking was expensive and the Internet access was extremely costly. I will very probably visit Berlin again, but I will seek a more friendly and personal hotel next time. What really makes me angry, is the GREED upon simple Internet connection - this does not cost any major investment, but the Hotel charge an extreme rate for use by their own customers.

The hotel was in an excellent location. It was our first time here and the public transport was easy to get to and so were the tour buses, almost outside the hotel. The rooms were what to expect for a 4 star hotel. disappointed that they only one LAN connection in the room as we both had laptops. The only let down was the maids kept wanting to clean our room even when we had the do not disturb sign out. A very good hotel and fair priced. would go back again.

This hotel is in a great location and provides good value. As it is right on a major transportation hub, there are lots of fast food options right outside the door, as well as some pretty good sit down restaurants. The only problem during our stay was that the maid service was a little spotty - there were no towels in our room when we arrived (but they delivered them right away when I called). Sometimes they were knocking on the door at 9 AM to clean the room, but on another day they were cleaning the room at 3 pm and we had to wait to return until they had finished. Overall, though, I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed over a weekend at the hotel. We booked a panorama view room, so we expected to see at least something from the beautiful skyline of Berlin. As we arrived, at reception we were told that we get a beautiful room with a view over the city and "brandenburger tor". Well, as we got in our room, we looked at a plain concrete wall of a shopping center, ca. 10 meters away from our window... Any questions concerning room change or a possibility to make a reservation for a better room in future were answered quite bearish. There was also no possibility to get any view - the roof terrace was closed because of rain. The room itself was very clean, but smaller then described and all furniture quite old. Fitness centre contains of one small room without any window with 4 cardiotrainers inside. Nothing else. To get something to drink you have to go down to reception to buy it. Sauna was also closed during our stay. We didn´t book any meals.

Consigliatissimo a tutti.

We found a great offer to stay at the Park Inn for 65 €/night, which is an excelent price considering the quality of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and with awesome views to the city. The only drawback was the double bed, which in fact were two singles together, and maybe the air conditioning, a bit difficult to regulate. In my own case, there was also a problem with the deposit fee they charge in your bank account, because there was a delay of a week until they refunded it; but well, not very important. Great hotel, excelent location, I truly recommend it.

Reservamos 2 habitaciones tipo Business Class Double.

When booking I thought the room (Business 90€/night) was slightly pricey, but comparing with other hotels in the same area and the actual quality of the hotel it was DIRT! cheap. Althought the room was on the "smaller" side it was beautifully designed, clean, quite and VERY central (eastern part). It is very easy to get around Berlin from the hotel. The layout solution of the room was innovative and interesting, the glass walls (clear and frosted resp.) to the shower and WC didn't disturb me at all (with comany it could even give something "extra" ;)). The staff was very accommodating and service minded. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, it's way too expensive but there is no problem finding nice cafés close to the hotel for half that price. The only "complaints" I have are the bad(inexistant) description on how to get to the hotel from the train station (Alexanderplatz). The train station is really very close, but it would help to know the right exit from the station. Being my first time in Berlin I took the wrong one and ended up on the other side of the park before I saw the hotel rooftop sign and turned around. 1,5 min walk turned into 15 min. Also, my room had a view of the comercial center wall next door, not very exiting, but it didn't bother me. Take a trip up in the TV tower instead and you'll get the best view of Berlin (don't pay to get to the hotel terass! The TV tower is MUCH better value for money!!) I highly recommend Park Inn, extremely good value for the money and I will certainly stay there my next time in Berlin. In addition, I recommend to start a short first-time stay in any city with a bus sightseeingtour, this way one quickly gets an overview over the city and can decide on what one would like to see more of during your precious few hours in that place. Berlin is a fantastic city, and deserves more time than a weekend, I will return :)

A very good hotel, excellent accommodation. The staff were very helpful arranging tours and providing information about Berlin. The staff performance was excellent considering they had to deal with some large tour groups as well as other hotel clients. The only negative was building works in the vicinity of the hotel caused some access issues to the hotel but the double glazed windows ensured that noise from those works did not affect people staying at the hotel. The spa at the hotel has excellent facilities, I had a swedish massage at the spa and it was the best i have ever had, but book your appointments in advance.

A very good hotel. Excellent location close to transport and shopping. One of the in-house restaurants, Spago's, has some very good value daily lunch specials which are not always displayed on the menu at the entrance. The panoramic terrace isn't really worth a visit. The views from the rooms are great. Roadworks currently (Summer 2008) outside the main entrance are not very attractive.

Very convenient, easy to get to, nice area. Room was quiet and bed comfortable. The only drawback was that the rooftop terrace on the 39th floor was much smaller than it looked like on the hotel homepage: it was tiny!

The hotel is far from being a 4 star! The room is tiny (smallest I have ever seen at a 4 star hotel)! Also, the shower and the lavoratory is actually in the room as there is only a curtain separating them from the bed. The WC has a door, but it is made of glass, and is not well isolated - there are huge spaces beetween the walls and the door! After spending 2 days there, I have moved to Concorde Hotel for just 20 euro more! You cannot compare these hotels! The bathroom from Concorde Hotel is bigger than the entire room from Park Inn!

Great location, close to public transport. Can walk to several sights. Helpful reception staff. Might use this hotel again, but would make sure of the room's accouterments. We got an especially good price, but think it was because we were assigned a room appropriate for prostitutes, due to its clear-glass-enclosed shower stall open to the bedroom, with only an optional white curtain that could be pulled for semi-privacy. Otherwise, room facilities were ultra-modern and the outside view was spectacular.

The hotel is ideally located besides shops and transport (S-bahn and U-bahn). The rooms are not enormous but they are comfortable and clean. Asked for and received a room looking over the TV tower. Breakfast expensive but plenty of places around to get breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a business class room on 19th floor. Room size was adequate but didn't like bathroom arrangement - separate toilet good but bath/shower and washbasin in centre of bedroom with some glass panelling did not afford enough privacy. Fittings modern and tasteful. Drawer/shelf Storage inadequate for a 5 night stay for 2 people. Toilet floor was not washed for duration of our stay otherwise cleanliness excellent.Great Location with fantastic public transport access.Hotel had great buffet breakfast - not cheap but worth it. Also excellent buffet dinner - great value. Don't miss breakfast on top of TV Tower - reserve. As we were not business travellers we would have appreciated a clear definition of what a business class room is.

We were in the hotel 4 nights in march 08. The fourth night was free. Nice place and really well situated in the center of Berlin. The double room is not very big, but comfortable and with all things you can need. The entrance is very strange and the receptionists not very kind. Problems: You can not paid with a debit card, but they are able to charge in your account only showing them your card number, the entrance day, your planned accomodation + 200 €. Then, when you leave the hotel and try to pay with this card you are not accepted and have to pay in cash. 10 days after we left the hotel, they have not refund yet the first charge into my bank account although calling them. All this said, without aby information by their side.

The various comments about the shower/wc facilities were correct but there was a curtain that could be pulled to add privacy. The bar on the ground floor was great staff attentive and food good. We didn't take the 17 Euro breakfast but went out of the back door of the lobby where there was a cafe which served a variety of breakfast meals at a good price. Excellent location in the city but I would recommend a taxi to and from Schonefeld airport. It is of course more expensive but the airport station is not very convenient when coping with luggage.

Awesome hotel in an awesome location. If you haven't seen the bourne supremacy, watch it before you stay in this hotel -- trust me! For the most part, the staff was nice, but the housekeeping staff has no idea what "do not disturb" (or the German equivelant) actually means!!! Anyways, the stay was great and I'd definitely come back. Oh -- and it's also really close to some of the cool historical sites in Berlin.

The hotel has over 1000 rooms and ONLY 1 person at the concierge to answer guest's questions. No privacy in the strange bathroom area.Maids would knock at the room's door at any hour to see if the room had been vacated. Vat and Breakfast are not included in the rate. Breakfast is fantasic for quality and quantity. I will go back to this hotel if the rate will be the same.

There are few that rival this hotel in Europe and even the U.S. I almost forgot what customer service was all about until my stay at Hotel Park Inn Berlin. Everyone from the front desk, maid service or concierge were extemely helpful and always with a smile! The location was perfectly situated downtown with easy access to the train and bus systems (not even a 5 min walk to each). I'm planning a summer trip with a group back to this hotel...I may have liked the hotel a little more than Berlin!
