We booked this hotel just to be close to airport. We drove in from Umbria, checked in to hotel (very helpful, friendly clerk) and then returned our car to Avis. Shuttle came to airport to pick us up, and when we weren't quite done with the car return procedure, he came back without us having to call. The shuttle in the AM was on time. You have to make a reservation for the shuttle and they don't start until 8:15 AM. They also provide shuttle (complimentary) to Florence SMN train station, and pickup there also. The food was fair. All in all, hotel suited our needs. Carpet was stained, which made the room feel dirty, which actually it wasn't.
