Novotel Monte Carlo - Monaco

Very very convenient location for the sites and night life of Monte Carlo.

Booked a Superior room and thought it had a balcony. When we arrived there was only tiny double glass doors and a grill but no balcony. When I complained at reception they gave us an upgrade to a balcony and it was wonderfull. Thank you for the very good service!

Young married couple. July 2010. That was our second stay in this hotel. Nice clean hotel. Only a few steps from casino square. Very good relation between price and quality. Good hotel for short stay.

During our 3-weeks trip in France & Spain, Hotel Novotel Monte Carlo was our unforgettable home for 1 night (July 24 – 25, 2010). We had a double room for 165€/night on the 10th floor (with a balcony) overlooking the street and we couldn’t have been happier with the amenities, value and location. GOOD: We booked a regular double room, but there were actually 2 double beds put together which made for a bed bigger than a grand king size!! We’ve previously enjoyed our stay at another Novotel in Zurich and I must say that it is quickly becoming my favourite hotel chain in the world for their sleek modern look! The windows in our room were huge floor to ceiling and we had an outstanding mountain view directly from the bed. Full amenities – nothing was spared. We did splurge (the most expensive room of our trip), but it was so worth it! The toilet was located in a separate room from the bathroom….which was kind of neat. The hotel staff was very helpful and professional and it is worthy to note that everyone speaks English fluently. The location is simply perfect for anything that can be seen and done in Monaco/Monte-Carlo and the room rate is far below other more older and prestigious hotels. The lobby, the bar and the pool area look exceptional in design! BAD: The free Wi-Fi was only available in the lobby (in the room it would have been ~20€ if I remember correctly), but everything else was top-notch! We haven’t tried the breakfast and we did not have a car rental to test parking availability, so we can’t comment on those. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and we would definitely book it again whenever again in Monaco!

The hotel was very nice, clean, rooms were spacious, friendly staff and very centrally located for walking to many of the sites.

5min walk from the casino, great swimming pool to relax in the morning after breakfast and very friendly staff. Best Novotel i'have been so far worldwide.

This was a good place to stat in Monacco. PRICE IS RELATIVELY GOOD AND LOCATION IS EASY WALK TO SHOPS AND CASINO. Make sure you walk down to sea front and right around harbour it is so good.

The hotel is a good alternative to the exclusive Monte Carlo hotels, and very-well situated. Casino, train station, harbor are all in 5-10 min walking distance. The hotel interior is modern, very nice and clean and in summer you may even have a jump into the pool. The staff was competent and friendly. We were offered a garden view room without surcharge. Rooms to the street may be a bit louder. All in all an excellent choice for a stay in Monaco.

Super hotel just a little expensive on the extras

I like very much the localization of the hotel, near the station, you can go walking. The price versus quality is very good. If you don't want to spend a lot of money with hotels.It's a good place.

Monte Carlo is expensive as you probably know. This hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk to the casino, but other that that it is a good value for your money. The staff was very nice and gave us a great dinner recommendation (a family italian restaurant) about 5 minute walk. Go to dinner there and you will have the best italian food around. It would have been nice to have breakfast included in the price, but welcome to Monte Carlo. Overall, a good deal, comfortable room and good staff.

This hotel was fabulous. I would recommend taking advantage of upgrading room to one with a view. Not just because the view across the harbour is beautiful, but also because rooms on this side of the building have balconies (those on the front do not). Room was modern, clean & soacious. We will definately return to this hotel. It is in prime location. Tip, save your legs by using train station access to harbour.

It was our first stay in Novotel at Monte Carlo, but it will defenitely not be the last... ! We had an excellent stay. Hotel and it's employees are very friendly.

This hotel is very clean and modern. The location is lovely with walking distance to the casino, shopping and beach. The only dissapointment was the friendliness of staff. There were several weddings on when we stayed and the front reception desk was ALWAYS so busy that the welcoming and service was poor. We would stay here again as everything else was very lovely and the location was excellent.
