It was a really wonderful hotel but i was sure of it looking the 4 stars. the room was very big, the bathroom very nice, so nothing to complain about it. it's about 30 minutes walking from the central station but it's a nice walk along the river. only the last part of walking is near some palaces where they are working on them. with my girlfriend we took an offer, so it was great to be in a 4 star hotel

Good hotel, within walking distance from the city center if not directly in it. A bit expensive. Good breakfast, but not included in the price of the room. Some rooms are on a quiet busy road, but sound isolation is quite good.

It was the first time I stayed at this hotel. it was for business and most of the day I was not in but when I returned to it every night I was not pleased with the straight faces that welcomed me. A smile is not on the price I paid I assume, and asking for the launderette service or the wifi in room was perceived as an act of interrupting the quite life they were having behind the desk. They could not be bothered with giving the extra service that makes you feel welcome when you out travelling. Definitely they all need some training.

Clean, spacious, modern hotel with very competent staff. Not exactly on the waterfront as depicted on the photos. Good value for price. Would defintely stay there again.

Travelling on A59 and A550 motorways, take Zentrum, Deutz Messe exit. Then Severinsbrucke exit, turn into Rheinuferstrasse, Holzmarkt. 300m along, you will see the Novotel Koln City.Travelling on A4 and A555, go to Autobahnkreuz Koln Sud junction. Take Rheinuferstrasse, Bayenthal exit. 4km along, you will see the hotel.
