Hotel Novotel Milan Malpensa Airport - Cardano al Campo

Very good standard for the money, it's a pity that breakfast is not included in rate

Wifi should be free in a hotel of this price.

I stay there only 1 night before a very early flight. What can I say....It's just like all Novotel around the world, it's a safe bet... If you have an early flight, you should surely stay there but for no other reasons. Even if the hotel is very clean and nice, it is in the middle of nothing (that's the problem)

The rooms in the hotel are beautiful and very modern. The location is great if you want to be near the Milano Malpensa Airport, but there is nothing close by if you are looking for a place to use as a home base for exploring Milan.

We overnighted at the Malpensa Novotel because we were flying out the next day and wanted something close to the airport. The shuttle service to and from the airport was great though we had to wait for 25 minutes to be collected as we had just missed a pick up. However, the lovely room and ensuite bathroom made up for that. The staff were helpful and welcoming. We did not get a chance to sample the food as we had an early departure.

We only stayed at this hotel one night, the night before our flight departed out of Malpensa airport. It has modern design, the rooms are clean and modern. The restaurant is not bad, and the breakfast spread is huge (though not included in the price). The hotel is 5-10 minutes form the airport. We took the shuttle to and from the airport for free.

Eat before you go because there are virtually no restaurants around the hotel and the restaurant at the hotel is terrible. The rooms are tiny but if you are only there for 1 night it is ok.

Very nice room, wonderful service, easy access to Malpensa airport. Would heartily recommend.

I have only two criticisms...1. It was extremely difficult, without speaking Italian, to phone through for the shuttle bus after our arrival at Milan Malpensa. (An Avis employee assisted us and the shuttle duly arrived). 2. Maybe a notice informing guests of the beginning and end of Summer time would help, as we were unaware of the change on 26th October - until we were an hour EARLY for our departure,on 26th. (Yes, I know better that than being one hour late!!!). I would like to particularly say that Stefano, on Reception was absolutely delightful and such a help during both our stays. Thank you.

Stefano at reception was incredible!! He walked us through car return to the airport, made sure the shuttle came for us, reserved spots on the am shuttle, organized a wake up call and when we returned from the drop off made sure we were happy. The prepaid option also saved 70 Euros!

We only stayed three days and only used the hotel to sleep. The shuttle service was an asset, but trying to contact the hotel to arrange pick up from the airport was a little confusing. The hotel receptionist was not particulary helpful! Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Hotel was close to airport which is what we were looking for but there was nothing around and it took about 1 1/2 hours to get to Milan centre. You had to take a shuttle bus and then a bus. The hotel provided a shuttle bus from the airport that was supposed to run every 30 minutes but it didn't show up for 1 1/2 hours (they said they were there but they were NOT). The staff was snobby and not very friendly. The room was very nice - clean, large and quiet. For a stopover it was fine but I would not stay there to see Milan.

Hotel was relatively new. Rooms were clean. Hotel advertised free shuttle to/from Malpensa. We called for the shuttle upon arrival. After waiting over 1 hour we took a cab, which got lost. Hotel had no excuses why the shuttle did not arrive. Clerk just looked at his shoes and said he was sorry. I would not stay there again. It is in the middle of nowhere and the only reason to stay is the proximity to Malpensa. However, if they cannot get you to/from the airport then there is no reason to stay there.

Everything about this hotel made our stay there most enjoyable. We spent a night here when we arrived in Italy and booked for another night before flying back home. It was so good on our first night that we couldn't wait for the end of our holiday to spend another night here!

Staff is friendly, hotel is clean. However, it's far from the city centre but is a good option if you're renting a car anyway and going to the lakes, instead of central Milan. I was hoping that breakfast would be included though.

If you need an hotel near by the airport, this hotel is the best choice

It is a great airport hotel. Not a destination place, but a good place with reliable shuttle service to/from the airport. The restaurant was very nice for an airport hotel.

The front desks were not polite in general. No patiences at all. Very unprofessioanl! The whole communication systems were broken down in the hotel on my day of arrival, and had to wait for another day for the repair. The rooms are nicely decorated and are clean. The location is close to the airport. But unlikely to stay here again due to the bad services.

I stayed here because I needed a shuttle to Malpensa in the morning. There were absolutely no problems with the shuttle that took to me the airport but I waited over two hours to be picked up. The hotel itself is spacious with an excellent restaurant but there does not seem to be any reason to be in Cardano exceptto wait to go the airport.

The hotel was very good. Staff were a little too cold; hotel food was overpriced and sineage from Malpensa airport was poor. Services were a little thin: we arrived at 2300hrs and tried in vain to get a drink from the bar at 0030. Hotel itself is well located to autostrada for onward journeys. The quality of rooms is very good.

If for business, or overnighting to catch a flight at Malpensa like we were, this place is great. But NO reason to leave the grounds. Beautiful facility with a superb bar and restaurant (expensive!). Great breakfast buffet but unfortunately, not included with the price of the room. Shuttle at Malpensa gate 7, terminal 1 was an easy connection after a call to the hotel on arrival, and the shuttle back in the morning was easy and convenient. Wonderful, comfortable room. Thought I got a decent deal but another guest we talked to got a similar room for much less - so shop thoroughly!

Ricevimento un po' freddino, strada introvabile con navigatore, colazione non inclusa nella "best price", ristorante caro. La camera è bene arredata, il bagno spazioso, doccia ottima, tv ottima. Wi-fi dichiarato dalla reception, in realtà non esiste.
