Hotel Novotel Cannes Montfleury - Cannes

In the South of France it is not so easy to find a so efficient and gentle team like the one of the Novotel Cannes Montfleury.

Hotel is tired- Not quite visible in the pictures. Restaurant serves very basic food with a simple "1 size fits all" menu that is intended to cover breakfast lunch & dinner. However the basic food style isn't all that different from much of the food in cannes. (meat & fries, mussels & fries type food). You have to pay to use the loungers by the pool. If you sit on the couches outside, you have to order drinks from the bar. So effectively if you want to use any of the outdoor pool area you have to pay. this is poor since you are already paying for the hotel. Gym has 2 single machines and 2 treadmills, so don't expect to workout anything except cardio. They overbooked our garden view room, so we were given a hill view room of the next grade up. We were glad as we wouldn't have wanted anything less than what we saw in that room.

We were initially given a dingy room with a bathroom for disabled access. We asked to be moved and were given a room facing the pool at no additional charge. The room was tired. Tha bathroom basin had a large crack and the finish was peeling off. Staff were friendly and helpful but Novotel need to make some investment in their rooms.

We found the hotel very comfortable and the staff on reception very helpful and courteous. Our booking did not include breakfast which we had on day one but did not think it worth 19 Euros each. The breakfast room staff did not appear to be as helpful and courteous as the reception staff.

Standard business hotel. You get what expected. Breakfast should be improved. Small (well, not so small) swimingpool. Perhaps the air conditioned in my room didn't work properly but they offered me to change to another room. Far from the beach, what is bad/good at the same time. A nice stay.

Hotel très bien dans sa globalité. Environnement très sympatique , personnel agréable et compétent. Je recommande!

I wish it had been clearly indicated that the pool would not be heated. I had hoped to exercise there and was unable to.

Very good hotell . Note ,the shuttelbus sevice to town is very good.

I have been in Cannes with my partner other times. This hotel satisfied me best. The pool is nice and if you do not want to pay 9€ for the poolside site, you can enjoy a nice the big sourrounding garden. Gym excellent, bar service excellent, garage excellent. All I needed was there!

It was about the way I expected after what I read on venere.com.

This hotel is clean, modern and has nice facilities; pool; dining, etc. It is a 10minute, mainly up-hill walk back from the centre of Cannes, but if you don't mind walking, its nice to be a little further out from the centre
