The location of this hotel is excellent since the Hertz rental drop off is right next door and the airport terminal is within walking distance (less than two minutes). Taxis are right in front of the hotel. The service at check-in was very good with no wait line and we were able to check in earlier than scheduled. The room was a little shabby but comfortable. The room door was a tight fit and one had to yank it really hard to get it closed. At 3:15pm an employee tried to get into our room with her key. Since we had the door double locked, she proceeded to knock on the door incessantly until we finally opened it (there is NO peep hole in the door). It was a lady who needed to check the expiration of the drinks in the refrigerator. I don't understand why this was so urgent and couldn't wait until the morning. The next morning at 8:15am, housekeeping tried to unlock our door with her key. I realize that this is a businessmen's hotel and most of them vacate their room in the early morning. However, our plane wasn't taking off until mid morning so we were still in the room. With technology as sophisticated as it is today, I can't understand why housekeeping didn't know we were still not checked out. I would stay here again only because of its location.

Pure and simple, our motive in staying at the NH Hotel Vienna Airport was convenience. We wanted a place to spend the night before our return flight the following morning. NH provides a decent enough accommodation, but it is rather crowded and noisy in its public areas, which makes sense. The breakdown of guests seems to be principally from the business crowd. We had no real problem with the hotel -- except for the pricey internet service, which was exorbitant. Maybe next time we go to Europe, we will take a laptop along. Food service was decent and of good quality. The best part was that, in the evening, our rental car return was no more than 100 meters from the lobby entrance; in the morning, we had to walk a mere 50 meters across the courtyard to reach the terminal. It was a good decision that led us to stay here. That said, you don't want to stay here if you're looking for charm and European ambience.

The hotel was great except it reeked of cigarette smoke. It is located just across from the terminal so we could walk to our flight the next morning. That was awesome. Its perfect if you have an early morning flight out of Vienna airport.

Very convenient location if you need to stay close to the airport, a few steps away from the terminal. Not much to say, this is an airport hotel with all the facilities you may need. Negative points: slow chech-in and check-out and rather expensive.

The room was excellent, but the cost of WiFi was ridiculous! It was 22 euros per day! Other than that, the hotel was fine. The location was perfect, about 50 meters from the airport.

We've stayed at other NH hotels, but never before at an airport. With a very early flight to catch, the location was perfect. If you do not order breakfast or park a car (and you can get into the city easily and inexpensively by walking across the street), it offers very good value

I was travelling alone this time and had visited Schwechat after many years.. The hotel was kind to accomodate my request for early check-in. BUT, since this is a airport hotel, PRINCIPALLY this should be on 24 hours check-in & check-out basis. AND, breakfast should be included in the price..Factually most of the guests are in transit so there should be a tea/coffee maker in the room..

I cannot figure which time they offer me which room. I always book the double bed one person room but their size vary. Last time I was placed into a small one two month ago into a big one. The price is the same....

The NH Vienna Airport has very impressive common areas, but the rooms are somewhat dated. They also added a breakfast to my bill automatically without confirming I had eaten there. While the breakfast was extensive and well done, the cost was rather high compared to what most hotels provide automatically, plus you must pay a very high rate to park at the Vienna airport, there is no hotel parking. Based on the overall price vs. what was provided, I cannot recommend this hotel overall.
