Hotel NH Baglio Oneto Resort - Marsala

This hotel is HARD to find, and when we called the staff, they were not really helpful with directions. Best bet would be to avoid arriving at night as we did... We booked a superior room, but no signs of 'superior' were visible in the room we were actually assigned (at the very least, the superior room should have had a DVD player, which we couldn't find anyway). The hotel would be a beautiful property, except for the remote location that makes it useless unless you are travelling by car. Breakfast was standard, mainly continental with poor cooked options. The breakfast was supposed to be available till 10.30 AM, but on one morning, entering the room at 10.10 AM we were told to grab what we could from the buffet because they were just about to close. Cappuccino was also poor by Italian standards. In short, we are not going back there, and wouldn't recommend this place unless it happens to be on your way while travelling around Sicily and you need a place to stop for the night.

We booked a deluxe room and it was well worth the extra. The Resort is rather difficult to find, being outside the town and rather remote - so you need a car if you are staying there. Otherwise, it is a lovely place to stay if you want to relax.

Very well signposted from a good distance away. Quite isolated but with excellent restaurant incorporated. First view of hotel from front - very good. Back views not so attractive. Balcony very welcome and rooms spacious and stylishly decorated. We were pleased with the high level of persoanl service, including evening bed turndowns and a little bedtime biscuit left for our pleasure! Marsala interesting but good 25 mins drive away. Breakfast served in courtyard in early morning sun - very high standard of service and excellent buffet. Would certainly visit again.

It was not easy to find the hotel after arriving late at night. Signs from the airport and main road are difficult to find. however, once installed we had a delightful time. The staff were wonderful and it was a truly relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings. The SS115 to Marsala and Trapani does not offer anything of much interest but we had a delightful visit to Erice.

Faboulous hotel with fine attention to detail. Staff not only was welcoming but acccommendated our special requests with enthusiam.

Bellissima struttura, personale accogliente e preparato. Le camere sono ampie ed arredate con gusto, l'insonorizzazione è ottima. Un punto di estrema lode va alla ristorazione.

This was a real find - after we actually found it. Prettier than the photos, there was a great terrace for breakfast on the warm day we were there. Rooms lovely, staff attentive and helpful, views divine. They have a great restaurant for supper too, which we enjoyed as well.
