Excelente hotel y buena relación precio-calidad. Habitación muy limpia, muy bien equipada y suficientemente grande para los que ibamos (familia de 4) . Zona poco turística pero muy tranquila. Perfecta para iniciar excursiones por la zona de los lagos.

Nous nous y sommes rendus entre amis pour un long week-end. Excellent rapport qualité/prix en plus d'un très bon accueil. La seule faiblesse de cet hotel est son parking.

The best value on our trip through Italy. I was concerned that Lecco would be too industrial. It has a lovely shopping district a few blocks from the hotel good resturants (including the one in the hotel). Driving to other locations around Lake Como is easy. The Hotel was new, clean, and very well run by a freindly staff. This is a business travel's hotel so those looking for romance and old world charm will be disappointed. For us it was a nice change from the often small accomodations provided by older establishments.

The hotel is nicely located, and the facility is overall very good. A few remarks though: parking space is basically non existing so you have to go to the nearest garage; no free internet access even in the lobby; very weak wifi signal in some rooms; no patience to answer customers who do not understand at once; I had to queue 20' in the morning for checking out.

I stayed here in August and arrived in pouring rain having walked from the railway station (and got lost - better directions for those of us arriving by public transport would be good). The hotel was warm and welcoming, and was in a good position (once I'd got my bearings)- 5 minutes to the town centre and lake. The room was quite spacious - I particularly liked the TV sound being piped into the bathroom - maybe this is quite common but I hadn't experienced it before! Lots of choice at breakfast, taken in a lovely room overlooking the river and mountains. I didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening, but the menu looked good and reasonably priced.

Great food, great view, great beer cafe nearby. The directions on how to get there by car were not good! The signs didn't say Jolly Ponteveccio. We stayed for 3 days, and toured around. Lecco is a very strange place, hard to find food unless you happen to be there at the right time. Easy to get lost in while driving around.

Petit séjour en Lombardie avec pour point d'arrêt cet hôtel. Excellent rapport qualité prix pour un hôtel 4 étoiles au bord du lac de Come. chambre spacieuse, salle de bain grande et pratique (petit plus pour le haut parleur de la télé/radio). L'équipe de l'hôtel pourrais toutefois faire des efforts pour avoir quelques notions de français car durant ces quelques jours nous étions nombreux. En conclusion je conseille fortement cet hôtel.

Fantastic value. Lovely room with river view from bedroom and private terrace. The big double bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Very nice restaurant with good dinner (reasonably priced) and complimentary glass of champagne. (If you arrive late, note that it closes at 10.) Great buffet breakfast included. Toiletries well above average. Desk staff very helpful with information about local transport etc. Overall an excellent experence.

Property was well signposted when we reached Lecco. Our room had a balcony and view over the river and was very quiet. Food and service in the restaurant was excellent. While parking is available it is limited and on a first come basis.

Modern hotel with large showers and everything working. Desk personnel were very helpful in figuring out the train schedule. Ask for a river facing room. Nice place to stay to see the local area. Excellent english language business hotel.

Very nice hotel with excellent kitchen. The room's noise insulation was average, like in most buildings in Italy. But overall I would recommend it to everyone to stay in Lecco.

Good rooms & public areas. Make sure you request a river facing room, ours was over a grotty backstreet. A little out of the way but ok for a short stay. We had an enjoyable stay (3 nights) & the staff were very good & helpfull apart from one male receptionist who thought it more important to continue a personal phone conversation rather than see to his guests. I actually saw one businesman walk out after waiting several minutes to be attended to. Parking was very difficult every night.

C’est un hôtel qui mérite ses 4 étoiles : j’ai eu une belle chambre, spacieuse et silencieuse. Le restaurant de l’hôtel est très bien aussi, le service est remarquable, les plats corrects et les vins vraiment bons.

The City Center is very close, 5 minutes walking. The outside car park is very small, it's very difficult to park in it.

We arrived at 2am and the man at reception was really nice. The room had a great big double bed and airconditioning. The hotel seems new so is in a good state and is right on the river with great views from rooftop solarium.

Lecco is off the tourist track but is a good example of an efficient Italian city with its fair share of museums, centri commerciali and eating places and is an ideal location for visiting nearby touristic attractions otherwise more costly to reside at (eg. Varenna, St. Moritz, Como, Bellagio). The Jolly Pontevecchio is strategically and ideally situated and the nearby covered garaged offers good parking rates. Its rooms are quite and well airconditioned, its staff impeccable and helpful and its restaurant (I Due Laghi) offers excellent meals at Euro 22 per person. Overall compared to last year`s Como prices, our 7 night stay was half the cost. Naturally we missed the charm of Como but then its only 40 minutes away. I recommend this Hotel and will not hesitate to revisit if I have an opportunity.

We loved this hotel. The room and luxury bathroom were very comfortable and clean. Parking is free at the side of the hotel. We took a meal in the restaurant (22 euros for 2 courses + coffee) and enjoyed very good food with excellent service. Much the best hotel we used during our stay and a reasonable cost for 4* comfort.

Ottimo Hotel, situato in una zona molto caratteristica. Le stanze sono molto ampie e pulite. Lo consigliamo a qualsiasi tipo di utente, dalla coppia giovane alle famiglie. Il personale è molto disponibile e competente per quanto riguarda il turismo della zona.

Staff very efficient, helpful and friendly. The room was as expected of a business class hotel, spacious and the ensuite clean and well stocked - but just one gripe:not enough wardrobe/cupboard space for the holiday traveller. Very limited parking outside the hotel but plenty available in the multi-storey about 100m away.

The Pontevecchio is the ONLY decent hotel in Lecco. There are a couple of three stars but they do not look inviting. The restaurants in the town serve largely just snacks in the evenings so we found the Ponevecchio's own restaurant to be the best place to eat. It looks expensive at first glance but was actually quite good value as it turned out. Check whether there are any fairs or special events in the area. We booked just two nights initially to see if we liked the place but because of the Italian Grand Prix that weekend, it was touch and go whether they had a room for us for the following four nights. However, they had a cancellation so we were lucky but there was a considerable price hike. Note there is no pool - and the solarium on the rooftop is a pretty unwelcoming concrete affair. Overall, a good hotel and good position - railway station and buses are not too far to walk if public transport is needed. Town and shops are only 10 minutes walk away and are all very nice.
