Hotel NH Marina - Genoa

The hotel is part of a chain so has a rather corporate atmosphere. My room was huge but with small windows, not innapropriate since the place has the feel of an ocean liner in port. The extensive public areas are pleasant, full of polished wood and brass and it is delightful to be able to walk outside with the water lapping at your feet and surrounded by yachts. It is, however,not cheap and there were small irritations with a non functioning key card and ill fitting bath plug. The main course at the evening meal was disappointing and odd; it was not until I glanced at the menu when I left that I realised that this was because some key ingredients had been replaced with substitutes that didn't work together. The staff were charming and the location attractive, but it could do better.

Hôtel agréable, même si l'accès est compliqué y compris parking.Réception souriante et efficace. Personnel de restaurant attentionné et mêts de bonne qualité et de présentation moderne. Buffet de petit-déjeuner conséquent et personnel actif. Emplacement original de l'hôtel, malgré un environnement touristique: un bon hâvre de paix.

Staff very competent and friendly. Breakfast buffet well displayed and with very good variety. Common areas very clean and furnished with good taste. Excellent location and view from the room. Most negative aspect was the room I had been assigned: although VERY clean and sufficiently spacious, it was placed on the upper floor and probably near the cooling/heating units. A very annoying loud humming could be heard even late in the night.

Having read other reviews i expected the car park to be a bit of a problem, but it wasn't as bad. Hotel is located on the marina and in a very central location for the old town, rooms nice and clean, big bathroom and friendly staff.

All'arrivo abbiamo dovuto attendere un po' prima di prendere possesso della camera, nonostante fossimo arrivati all'orario indicato per il check-in, che già non si può fare prima delle 14.00. Posizione ideale, direttamente sul mare. Stanza : Camera superior + letto aggiunto

The location is wonderful, quiet yet very close to the historical center. The room is not spacious enough but the two balconies give you nice and relaxing view. The breakfast level - between average and poor. The receiption staff friendly but we had to wait about half an hour to get our key cards activated. Due to the perfect location of the hotel I would rather return there.

Splendida location dell'hotel con vista sul porto. Camere un po' piccole e forse con troppi oggetti inutili (es. tavolini e poltroncine).

sta situato proprio nel porto antico.. quindi significa 20 metri dall'acquario.. 50 metri dal porto per le crociere. Hotel consigliatissimo.

Il rapporto qualità vs prezzo è ottimo considerando il prezzo pagato in offerta (149,00 euro), ma non rispetto al prezzo normale, di oltre 400,00 euro (come risulta dal tariffario esposto sulla porta della stanza) che mi sembra assolutamente ingiustificato

This hotel is ideally situated for the city, and offers an excellent " retreat " from the more hectic centre. The restuarant is more than acceptable.

The location is magnificent, right in the middle of things, between the aquarium and the old town. I would stay here again (and hope to do so). Staying here will make you feel jolly (like the Jolly Roger flying from the pirate ship just outside the front entrance, used by Roman Polanski in the film "Pirates").

Perfect clean room with nice window/balcony view. Perfect and almost silent air-conditioning (an essential issue for stay in Genova in July). 10 minutes walk distance from historical center. Reasonably priced. During my next stay in Genova (corporate or private) will chose this hotel.

Wonderfully located on the marina, we found the room attractive and very comfortable. The ventilation system wasn't working properly but we opened the patio doors (noisy). The restaurant was pricey but excellent service. Breakfast buffet very good. Staff at front desk exceptionally friendly and competent.

A very pleasant stay. Excellent situation at the harbour. Best for a short stay in Genova. The hotel is worth its 4 stars (which is not always the case in italy) an comparable to international standards. We had a dog with us which was absolutely no problem. We forgot a cellphone and it was sent to our home charge free and immediately. Breakfast good, Parking great for a stopover with fully packed car. There is only one point to complain about: Elevators are unbelieveble slow for a new building.

Very nice hotel, spacious rooms with a good view, employees efficient and pleasant, rich breakfast and excellent restaurant with also nice employees. Ideal place to go walking to the old town, for shopping and tourism (very useful parking in the hotel !) A place we recommand to everyone : excellent ratio price/quality.

A very welcoming hotel and extremely well placed for local amenities. Although pricey the restaurant is certainly worth a go. A slight language problem at breakfast but it didn't marr our stay
