The room was nicely and tastefully furnished and spacious, the beds were comfortable. We took public transport to Dresden and walked about five minutes to the tram station. The ride to Dresden took about fifteen minutes. Dresden is definitely worthwhile visiting and we plan to go back soon and stay at the NH Hotel again. Just the breakfast seemed to be very expensive with €16 per person.

I had reserved a room with three beds with a reservation total price of 210€.Despite,they pretended this price was intented for two persons,and they charged me with a 100 € more.Nothing to stress,regarding the hotel's quality.It is good.Neithertheless a bit to far from the old town,if you consider leaving the car at the hotel,and walk.But the tram'stop is close,and biking in Germany is very comfortable

We waited over 1 hour and a half for room service of one bowl of chili and one small pizza!!!! It should have been complimentary at that point. We were waiting on the food so we could go to sleep. We had an EARLY flight the next morning. It was frustrating. I will say that the breakfast we paid for was WONDERFUL! That was a nice surprise.

NIce modern hotel. You would need to use public transport or drive to town centre. There were lots of tours available in dresden so quite a nice place to spend one or two days.

The staff has been to charm school since the last negative comments, and we found them quite friendly and welcoming. They were stretched a bit thin, however, and it took several requests to get an extra pillow. We would stay there again.

It was not clear when booking the room that it was without breakfast and it came as a supprise that 2x14 Euro had to be added per night. The personnel at the reception desk and in the restaurant reactied as had they been ordered not to smile and thus seemed always to be in a hurry. The hotel it self was approx. 2.4 Km from the Town centre (Altstadt) - a long walk into town and back again. The hotel was easy to reach and it had an underground garage with direct access to the lobby - very nice and a plus. The hotel seemed to be used by bigger groups from travel agencies and especially at breakfast time big groups of people showed up. Next time we would probably try to find a smaller hotel with more ambiance closer to the town centre.

From the A4 (E40) highway, exit at Dresden-Hellerau and proceed towards the city centre until you reach Hansastraße. The hotel lies after the underpass, on your right-hand side.
By train
From the Dresden-Neustadt railway station (800 metres away) you can either reach the hotel on foot or take tram line 3 and get off at Friedrich List Strasse.
From the main railway station Dresden-Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 3 and get off at Friedrich List Strasse.
By airplane
From Dresden airport (5 km away) take the express train S2 and get off at the Dresden-Neustadt railway station. From there follow the abovementioned indications.
