the hotel is located close to the river on a main road, 20 min walk from the central rail station if walking along the riverside. It is complicated to access the hotel by tram (2 trams are needed and a 10 min walk ) so if you don't have a car take a taxi. in front of the hotel there is a building site, so don`t expect a view and be prepared for the noise. i won't recommend this hotel for a romantic staying...

Ottimo hotel,pulito,silenzioso,stanze nuove e spaziose (mancava solo il necessario per il tè...), a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro. Lo consiglio vivamente.

From the moment we arrived to the time we left we were made to feel welcome by the very competent and friendly staff. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cologne. It is also just a 10-15 min walk from the main train centre and the dom. Very good hotel.

Room excellent. Location is fair and a brief 7-10 minute walk through nice safe neighborhood to the local tram. Breakfast is superb! Many choices and friendly staff.

My husband and I came for our anniversary and it was nice. Right near the Chocolate museum. A little ways to walk to the old town area but a nice walk just the same by the river. The rooms were a bit on the warm side but opening the window helped. The hotel was just what the online site showed. The beds are uncomfortable even though they say the are specially made for the hotel. Not a fan. My husband can sleep on anything and he didnt even sleep well. So that is my only real complaint.

Within reasonable walking distance to the main historic areas of Cologne. There is parking under the hotel but it is limited however, there is good parking within an easy walk from the hotel. We ate at the Brauerei Zur Malzmühle, a brewery with very traditional food that is within easy walking distance from the hotel. A great meal and great beer even for a non beer drinker.

we had the bad luck of arriving exactly on the day of a huge demonstration so the centre of the town was blocked by the police making the arrival at the hotel by car impossible till after 22h; however the hotel staff knew about the situation but failed to offer us an alternative route in order to bring the car with our luggages to the hotel...

Hotel is neat and high quality. Rooms are huge and bathrooms are typical german: extremely clean and shining. Service was great. I'd come back to the same hotel anytime. Situation is 10 minutes walk south of the the old center; 20 minutes walk from the Dom, just in front of the Chocolate museum. All in all, grat stay.

The hotel is extremelly well located (just minutes from monuments, shopping, nightclubs,...) and the staff is very professional doing all in their hand to improve your stay. About the only "negative" points were the carpet in the room had not been vacuumed correctly (though everything else was spotless) and that it was difficult to get the in-room temperature to go down.

Great location if you want to see the Cathedral (which is pretty much all there is to be seen in Koln :-)), however, the hotel is on a very busy street and close to one of the bridges, so ask for a room with a window to the back yard. And also, I found the down quilt a bit odd considering the 30 degrees outside :-) Nice place for the price
