Only one problem: The hotel was on complete restructure!! So we stay on a small room with very noise!! And of course nothing sayd us this information before reserve the room..

this is a very nice hotel in a not so great location. I would stay here again. Room was average size for European room. Room was very clean and hotel offers a lot of services. the neighborhood is a little seedy but I did arrive late at night.

Estuvimos en el Jolly de Catania los dias 19 y 20 de marzo 2005, sabado y domingo, por lo cual tuvimos la oportunidad de acojernos a una oferta de fin de semana consistente en una habitación doble con dos desayunos buffets incluidos en el precio por 79 Euros cada dia. Creo que para Italia e inclusive para Catania es una oferta dificil de superar, por lo que la relacion precio/hotel de cuatro estrellas fue excelente. El desayuno buffet muy bueno. La situacion del Hotel en la Piazza Trento: excelente. Cuando llegas al Aeropuerto de Catania solo tienes que coger el Alibus (autobus que va del Aeropuerto a la ciudad de Catania) y te deja en la misma piazza de Trento, exactamente enfrente del hotel (coste del billete de autobus 0,90 €/persona). La habitación que se nos dio en la septima planta era silenciosa y bien aislada acusticamente.En resumen nuestra estancia en el Jolly Bellini de Catania fue plenamente satisfactoria por lo que no podemos sino que recomendarlo para aquellos turistas o viajeros que visiten Catania.

Hotel Jolly Bellini suited my purposes precisely for a one night stay. The room was small and functional, the bathroom excellent. The room really did need a thorough clean and the whole hotel gave the atmosphere of having seen much better days. A bit of cleaning and re-decoration would do wonders. The staff were very good if somewhat slow by north western european or north american standards.

The hotel isn't bad at all for the price, and considering where it is. Walk 15 minutes and you'll be right in the centre of Catania, and the Via Etnea shopping paradise is no more than 5 minutes away.

We asked for rooms with twin beds but we were given marriage beds. There was not any possibility of change. We payed for this hotel the highest price in Sicily. This is not aceptable

Excellent relationship between price/quality only if compared with high floors rooms. In fact they propose us in primary option a very low class accomodation located at the third floor. Fortunatly it was a double single bed fourneished room so we ask for another one with a queen bed. They gave us a room at the seventh floor: it was new, really confortable and (above all) without that terrible smell of smoke that was a carateristic of the first choice.

Al prezzo indicatomi mi veniva offerta una double, ma l'impiegato di turno mi comunicava si trattasse di una double french, ovvero letto a una piazza e mezzo, che sinceramente per due persone mi sembrava pochino. Per fortuna la gentilezza e disponibilità del portiere, mi hanno portato in una doppia vera! Qualche problemino col parcheggio, molto acrobatico!

Apparently, this is a hotel used by business people. The rooms are little more than closets and the lighting is very poor. Since we were there as tourists, we would have liked to have had more space and a little comfort in the rooms. There was no comfortable chair in the room so that one our party sat in the lobby to relax since there was no other place to go. It's hard to understand how this hotel has a four star rating. One positive thing was the breakfast buffet which was very good.
