Quite hard to find from the airport but we eventually found the underpass leading to the shopping centre next door. Had to walk through the shopping centre and hotel car parks to get to the entrance. When trying to get a drink at the hotel bar no staff where available. Breakfast was great and the rooms were modern and spacious. Good for an airport stopover but quite expensive if staying more than one night.

the let down for this hotel is not being able to get anything to eat or drink on arrival, after driving for a few hours we were told the we needed to go to the shopping centre for these facilities as at the hotel they were closed for another 4 hours, we didnt want to go shopping, which was only fast foods, we wanted to sit down, relax and not move

The hotel is very modern and consequently well appointed. The rooms were clean and quiet. Surroundings are not picturesque but it is an airport hotel not a rural idyll. It should be used as an overnight transit hotel only - which is what it is. You can see the hotel from outside arrival terminal but walking directions are not given and would be useful as you have to cross the A4 autostrada. From outside the airport go through short term car parking area and find exit road - turn right and follow road for about 300 yds to set of lights. Take the underpass to the Orio centre turn left out of tunnel, hotel is about 300 yds on right. It was good value for money with the continental breakfast being quite liberal and varied.

Found that when we arrived at 7:30 on a Sunday evening that the restaurant was closed and that there was no room service. Noticed in the Lift as well that there is none on a Tuesday either. Be warned that since you are near the airport then you don't have much alternative.

It was a very lovely hotel. it was very clean, quiet and the service quality was perfect. But we had a very bad experience before our arrival to hotel. We were planning to arrive to Bergamo airport around at 11.00 pm. But due to fog, our plane landed on Bologna airport and after 2 hrs we were transferred to the Bergamo airport. From Bologna to Bergamo also took 2.5 hrs and we just arrived to Bergamo at 4.00 am. Then we took a taxi to the hotel and paid 20 euro. Next morning we were really shocked when we saw the hotel just across the airport (200 m away). It takes just 10 minutes by walk from hotel to airport. Anyway it was a good experience and we did not have any option rather than taking a taxi in a very late time and in a place we have not been before.

An Airport hotel with no easy access to the airport!. You can see it, but it is very hard to get to. NO courtesy bus (a 4* hotel!) and the way to get there?.... walk 400m along a noisy dual carriageway, then cross then underpass a motorway and then make your way back the other side by the shopping centre carpark. Hope it does not rain. A Taxi would take a very long way round! Only the Italians would not bother to build a footbridge (which would be then a 2 min walk only). When you do get there it is fine, if a little sterile. The 'bar' is merely a few bottles in the reception area. Food was OK, a bit pricey so not great value. Shopping centre next door has lots of good shops but only fast food restaurants, so not better there. I wish I had taken a taxi to the old town and stayed there.

The quietest hotel in Italy we have stayed in during our annual visit over the last 7 years. Excellent location for the airport, but getting from the airport to the hotel is the problem. It is possible to walk - approx. 10 minutes, but at midnight with cases it's not that practicable. Unfortunately the taxi drivers at the airport take advantage of this and charged 18 euros. Collection sevice by the hotel perhaps?

We were arriving late into Orio al Serio airport, and flying out again the following day quite late. Due to a grand prix on in Bergamo, most hotels were booked up at the time. The NH Orio al Serio was one of the few that were available. It suited us due to it's proximity to the airport - if we had gone elsewhere, it is unlikely that we would have been able to get something to eat as we were arriving so late. For an airport hotel, it was quite nice - the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant had some reasonably food that was well priced.

This hotel is located directly across the autostrada from the airport but is difficult to find at night if you are driving!. It is however clean and new and ok for a one night stay if you are arriving late in Bergamo.

This very modern hotel, purpose built for the airport provided us with a surpisingly quiet and comfortable final night for our travels in Italy. The rooms were very clean and well appointed with good sized beds. Breakfast was a wonderful surprise in the morning, giving us a great choice and was beautifully displayed. The friendly waitress went to continuous trouble to replenish the buffet to keep its immaculate looks (we would have expected this to be more in keeping with a 5 star hotel). As the hotel is literally opposite the Orio Al Serio airport it is ideal for anyone needing an hotel close by.
