We had a wonderful stay at the Soldanella the double room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately the TV was broken and couldn't be fixed that night but otherwise it was a great hotel. The staff was very helpful trying to help us arrange activities like sledding in the area.

The location is ideal for the centre of St. Moritz - you can walk most places, summer and winter. Althogh this is a rather big hotel, it seemed small and cosy. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Soldanella was the finest surprise we had during our vacations in Europe from September 19th to October 6th. In fact, the photos in the site don`t make justice to the real thing. The hotel is really nice, the restaurant and the bar are well decorated and cozy, the room view is breath-taking. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The breakfast (included)is fantastic, with a good variety of tasty items. The hotel staff was really nice and helpfull in all circumstances. We should have stayed longer in St. Moritz, which was also a really great destination to rest between France and Italy as we planned in our trip. We will certainly come back and can surely recommend Soldanella as a wonderful place to stay.

We had rooms at 150 CHF/night, i.e. much lower than the 240 CHF stated on your web site. The hotel is very close to downtown St Moritz Dorf - and still quiet at night

Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Soldanella, they were so nice and kept 2 of our big bags while we visited more of Europe and picked them up later. Easy to find and a shuttle from the train station (it cost but not much).

Please tell your customers that they do not need to take a taxi to and from your hotel from the train station!! It was an easy walk, even when rolling suitcases! Taking the escalator in the Parking place was too easy, then through the garage and we were right at the station. It saved us an expensive 5 minute taxi ride!!!

Had a magnificent view over the lake and township. Rooms were very spacious with large window offering great views. Service from the hotel was excellent. Restaurant manager (I believe separate from the hotel although in the same building) was very rude - check food prices before being overcharged. We were charged $18 to have two cups of tea sent to the room after dining in the restaurant!

We had a wonderful stay at the Soldenella. Upon arival at the train station, we were met by a taxi service for the hotel. This was the first of several nice touches that made our visit easy. We requested a room overlooking the lake and it was a lovely view. We recommend this to others.

A lovely warm hotel. The staff were very welcoming and spoke perfect english. the room was a bit cramped but as there were 3 of us it was to be expected. The restaurant was just wonderful with great food and staff. Too far to walk from the station but taxi wasn't too expensive and very quick.

This was a great older style hotel with lots of character. The staff described it as a 'small family hotel' and this was so - we felt very much at home here. The position was great - not very far from the train station and with nice scenery. Our window overlooked a lake and we had a beautiful view of Swiss countryside. The staff were friendly and helpful. We spent Christmas day here and could not think of anywhere nicer in the world to be. Food was also fine and the special Christmas menu served in the dining room was excellent.

Hotel is slightly outside city center with a 10-15 minute walk from train station. Dinner at their hotel was good and similar to other restaurants in town. Triple bedded room was spacious for three adults. Cold breakfast had assorted cereals, cheeses, meats, breads and beverages. Staff was able to assist English speaking clients. We found hotel a excellent stopover for our holiday through Switzerland.

The staff at reception desk were friendly and helpful. The view from the breakfast window was beautiful. The room was clean and spacious...I would recommend this hotel for the very fair price. The only upset was the front of the hotel is at the top of the hill and the back of the hotel is on the bottom..we had difficulty finding the entrance and the phone #'s left on the back door were not correct/noone answered. We got in by yelling through someones window beneath hotel, whom was pleasant and was receptionist the next moring at checkout. Overall...definitely recommend

The view from our room was amazing, but the hotel itself was slightly dated. And even in the non-smoking rooms, everything still smelled smoky. The staff, however, was incredibly helpful and I was impressed with hthem.

We visited Hotel Soldanella in a very quiet period in October, which was fine with us. We walked into town to eat at one of the restaurants recommended by the hotel, which was excellent. The surrounding area is beautiful, next to mountains and a lake. For those who wish to send email, internet access is offered for a low fee in a comfortable chair next to the giant stuffed bear!
