Nice atmosphere, slightly dated but an enjoyable stay never the less. Great location for sightseeing, tram stop just over the road. Staff polite and helpful, overall a good experience and I will definitely be coming back later in the year.

Staff really friendly. Excellent breakfast which was included in a very good price. Good tram links to Media City and Manchester City Centre. Unfortunately though the hotel could do with being modernised and the room we had overlooked the bins and the loading area which was noisy early in the morning with breakfast deliveries.

My overall stay was excellent,as indicated by my responses given above. However, there was nevertheless just one thing that I would like to comment on; Reception. The check-in and check-out process took far too long. Only 2 receptionists, leading to a very long and time-consuming queue.

I travelled to Manchester with my three kids. was looking for something with fair price and good accommodation just for one night. The hotel is very good for this price. Rooms clean and spacious. There is a playground not far from the hotel, so in the evening we had a walk there.. good before taking children to beds.

No quietness at all in the room, continuously hearing the doors opening and closing at night and in the mornings. The bathroom was quite old, with some tiles partially broken and really poor lighting. Won't bother in coming back.

The best price available was via venere.com. Friendly staff and a clean and comfortable room for the price. I would stay here again as the location is ideal for visiting The Lowry Theatre; a pleasant 10 minute walk along the Quays. Internet access is expensive.

This is a good-quality hotel set in the ever-expanding Salford Quays area of Manchester. Quiet location, only 15 mins on the Metro to the centre of town. Only one complaint and that is to do with their booking system. We'd booked a double room via a third-party internet site. Despite having written confirmation of this booking, on arrival, we were initially given a twin room. When we challenged this, we were told that although our original booking of a double had been confirmed in writing to us, it didn't necessarily mean that the room we wanted was available (?!). We pointed out that this was NOT our problem - it was the hotel and the third-party's. Were then told that there weren't any doubles left and again, we pointed out that we would not have booked this hotel if we had not been guaranteed a double room (we had travelled all the way from London for our anniversary weekend). A double room soon became available on the screen. Don't let this hiccup put you off - I'm sure it's just a case of the hotel ironing out a few technical hitches! The beds were incredibly comfortable and the room spacious and clean. Worth getting a room with a view over the Quay.
