The Millennium Copthorne Hotel at Chelsea Football Club was completely refurbished in mid 2006 and is situated next to Chelsea Football Club in London. This 4-star luxury hotel is nestled on a 12 acre sight and features two wings, the Millennium and the Copthorne.
Since it's development in 1905, Chelsea Football Club has become one of the greatest English institutions and regularly welcomes 40,000 fans to the Stamford Bridge Stadium.
The hotel is located just a 5 minute walk from Fulham Broadway underground station, offering you superb access to London and all its wonderful tourist sites. The hotel is also in close proximity to some of London's most trendy shopping stores on Kings Road and the chic boutiques of Knightsbridge.

Devo dire che prima di partire per Londra abbiamo dilapidato tempo e risorse in faticosissime ricerche su Internet per cercare un Alberghetto (un due stelle) che ci permettesse un degno riposo dopo giornate intere trascorse in giro per questa fantastica città. Dopo tutte le bettole più o meno pulite che avevamo individuato (molte delle quali erano già esaurite), ci siamo imbattuti in una offerta di VENERE.COM per due doppie "standard" (eravamo in 4 a viaggiare) a prezzo davvero interessante (74£/stanza a notte "prepagate" senza colazione). Premesso che l'Hotel in realtà è diviso in due stabili (Copthorne e Millennium, il primo più moderno il secondo un pò meno), a noi spettavano, stando a quanto riportato sul sito, due stanze 'standard' nel Millennium (quello un pò meno moderno) ma in pratica al check-in ci hanno comunque assegnato le stanze nel Copthorne (si vede che erano libere e cmq a livello gestionale conveniva anche a loro). In definitiva devo dire che è situato su Fulham Rd in un quartiere (Chelsea) molto bello, praticamente adiacente allo stadio di Stamford Bridge (occhio ai sovrapprezzi in concomitanza con le partite casalinghe del Chelsea), a due passi dalla stazione metro di Fulham Broadway (in pratica tale stazione è un piccolo centro commerciale di due piani con Starbucks, ampio supermercato Sainsbury, negozietti vari di oggettistica, calzolaio, etc...). La colazione continentale di 12£/persona dell'hotel ci è sembrata eccessiva percui abbiamo ripiegato senza problemi presso gli esercizi della stazione metro suddetta. Sull'albergo Copthorne non ho trovato difetti: personale disponibile 24h, 7 piani e due ascensori sempre attivi, pulizia giornaliera davvero ottima per gli std inglesi, moquette pulita, stanze sufficientemente grandi con spazio anche per un comodo divano, letto con materasso e guanciali molto ma molto comodi, asse stiro, piegapantaloni, bollitore per the/cioccolata, televisione LCD 26'', bagno con doccia a livello pa

Nice, clean, modern hotel. The rooms are on the small side, but they make up for it in quality. The value can't be beat. I would stay here again. Upon checkin, the staff couldn't find a record of my Venere reservation, but they found a room, gave me the same price, and upgraded me to the nicer Millenium hotel for my inconvenience.

We had a very bad experience: We didn't get our room in the Chelsea; they even tried to tell that our booking was not confirmed etc... I had my confirmation e-mail with me, so they had to find a solution. They gave us a room in the Kensington, which was a lot less comfortable; a very little room and not in a good condition. They told it would be less expensive (they wrote 120 pounds on our papers), but the day we left it took lots of trouble for the administration of Kensington to get that agreement... But the worst of all was that they let us pay for the taxi to get from Chelsea to Kensington!!!! We travelled a whole day, arrived at Chelsea and had no room, then we even had to pay our taxi to a less good hotel! I was exhausted, that's why I didn't react yet. So I'm very glad to hear from you and hope I will get an answer to know how I can claim at least the 10 pounds of the taxi back. I didn't get the bill of my mastercard yet, so I hope there won't be made mistakes..... greetings, Marleen Minten
How to reach Millennium and Copthorne Hotels at Chelsea Football Club
By car
From the M25:
Exit the M25 at junction 15 and take the M4 towards London. Follow the M4, which becomes the A4, over Hammersmith flyover and across two sets of traffic lights. Take the filter right, down Earls Court Road. Cross the first major set of lights and at the second junction turn right into the Fulham Road (A304). The entrance to Millennium & Copthorne Hotel at Chelsea Football Club is about 600 metres (0.4 miles) on the right.
From the North:
From the M1 turn off onto the A406 North Circular Rd at Junction 1. Turn off onto the A40 and stay on until the Junction with the M41. Turn right onto the A3220 Holland Rd. Follow the A3220 for 2 miles before turning right onto the A304 Fulham Rd. Stamford Bridge is a quarter of a mile long.
From the North-West:
From the M40 continue onto the A40 and stay on until Junction with the M4. Then as route for North. From the West get on the M4 and at Junction 2 continue along the A4 for 4 miles until it becomes the Cromwell Rd. Turn right onto the A3220 Earls Court Rd. Then as route for North.
From the South-West:
From the M3 turn off onto the M25 at Junction 12. Continue for 10 miles until you reach Junction 15 at which point turn off onto the M4. Then as route for West.
By underground
The nearest tube station is Fulham Broadway on the District Line. On exiting the station, turn left and walk along Fulham Road for approximately 400 (0.2 miles) metres. Millennium & Copthorne Hotel at Chelsea Football Club is located on the left hand side.

Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the rooms are available at any time after 2 p.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than 11 a.m.
INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Parking is not included in the price and costs £1.00 per hour, £24.00 per day. When there is a match playing at the Chelsea Football Club, parking costs and additional £20.00, therefore £44.00 per day.
Use of the wireless and cable Internet access costs £10.00 for 24-hours.
Cots for children are provided free of charge.
